waht is the deal with pulling a dump cart behind the harvestor it seems to me that it would make more sence to me is to have a tractor pull the dump cart and that you would waste time hooking and unhooking the cart just wondring
the corn is harvested on the ear at about 30% to 40% moisture. it is dried and shelled at a processing plant. there is less damage to the corn and a higher germination percentage
that big machine sure would be good for harvesting hog feed or ears for cattle!

They dump from one cart to the other. There are scales on the carts so that they do not overload the trucks that take it for processing.

How do they remove the seeds from the corn then? Wouldn't it be easier to separate the corn before hand?
