Right on man. I'm in an interesting position, as I've experienced pretty much every family type there is. Until I was 12, I lived in a nuclear family set up. Then my parents divorced, and I lived on and off with either of them in single-parent setups. Then my father married my stepmother. Then my mother came out, and started having longterm girlfriends. All of this in the span of about five years. And you know what? The only difference between each situation was the personalities.
Oh and by the way, when it comes to polygamy, just point out by not supporting polygamous marriage, they're contradicting themselves. Truly traditional marriage is between a man and several women, typically underage, and that's sanctioned by the bible. Ironic thing about the US: forced polygamous marriages on underage girls are actually quite common in the most anti-gay state in the country. You gotta at least give them props for consistency.

Marriage may have been started by Religion, and Homosexuality may be disliked by some Religions, but who cares? Marriage is about Love, bonding with somebody who you love. It's not just a excuse to have children and continue to overpopulate the planet.
And, as said in prior comments, people who oppose Gay Rights just use the same bloody points over and over again.

when i went onto this video i just laughed my ass off, i heard "a few days ago fucking mind" due to me clicking on this video from another side and then it jumping to some point in the video
anyway, the argument is like a broken record, people against gay marriage act like morons and keep using the same arguments, just with different wording

Right on man. I'm in an interesting position, as I've experienced pretty much every family type there is. Until I was 12, I lived in a nuclear family set up. Then my parents divorced, and I lived on and off with either of them in single-parent setups. Then my father married my stepmother. Then my mother came out, and started having longterm girlfriends. All of this in the span of about five years. And you know what? The only difference between each situation was the personalities.

Oh and by the way, when it comes to polygamy, just point out by not supporting polygamous marriage, they're contradicting themselves. Truly traditional marriage is between a man and several women, typically underage, and that's sanctioned by the bible. Ironic thing about the US: forced polygamous marriages on underage girls are actually quite common in the most anti-gay state in the country. You gotta at least give them props for consistency.

Nice to know I'm not the only person who gets this pissed off and passionate about this topic. And I live in the US. I get so sick of refuting the claim the overturn of Prop 8 "Undermined the voters" Don't put unconstitutional legislation on the ballot, we won't have to worry about undermining the voters. Pretty simple.

But what if the siblings were truly in love with each other? Surely separating the couple could mean just as much anguish to a homosexual or heterosexual couple? And yes i concede that it is not defined as a sexual orientation compared to hetero, homo or bisexual but since when has human sexuality been so clear cut? Isn't the "yuck" factor that causes so much taboo around the subject, also multiplied due to evolutionary pressures? Meaning we are wired to feel disgusted by incest?

@DebateMeTheists that's what i see as an inevitable logical conclusion, i mean some people still feel repulsed by it, but along as it is consenting and not abusive i can't deny anyone their rights. Also inbreeding isn't necessarily a bad thing in itself, it's the inability to exclude bad alleles from a gene pool that cause the problems, which isn't even particularly that much of an increased risk or is even less than other common factors within a birth.

@DebateMeTheists so would I, in the form of prenatal scanning and testing, but no more than I would mothers over 40 or so, who are twice as likely to give birth to a child with down's syndrome than first cousins are to any kind of congenital defect.
