Spoken correctly, it is one of the best, but certainly not the best. Smaller heat sinks are harder to grind and keep cool, which will lower future hit counts, which equals higher costs. Also, adding another key to turret tooling is like adding "miles" of inaccuracies, turrets don't need anymore slop then they already have, this will result in a much higher chance of tool wear, once again increased costs. Another attempt of locking people into a single vendor, sad!
Brilliant design !!! though i have "Sero" tooling (thick turret) from the 90's that is very very similar (and i gave F.M tool & gauge a sample to "look at") . .
we just gained over 250k of Wilson ® tooling that came with a Finn-Power F525 :)
p.s thanks for the 200k plus hits per tool !!!!!!!
This Is one of the best tooling systems for any thick turrret machine.. Way to go Wilson Tool.
