At 5:02 to 5:09, I think Monastario has a tear in the front of his pants. There's a gap there that's...very unfortunately located, shall we say.

@vincentcapuano He's excellent at using a bullwhip, can pick locks, is a decent marksman (which was the best anyone could be with the sorts of guns they had at the time), is a good tracker and hunter, knows all the local territory like the back of his hand, and has some familiarity with combustibles.

A classic Renaissance man. ;)

@vincentcapuano Combustibles are things that combust. Explosives. Anything that goes kaboom if you light it on fire.

And I suppose Zorro also has Diego's other abilities like charm, dancing, guitar playing, piano playing, familiarity with both Californian and European politics, writing, a good education, and is very well read. I don't know how useful most of those are escaping the comandante, but he can do them.

@Twilightescence5 If anyone deserved that warm place it would be Monastario. Surely what he's doing at the mission breaks all the laws of sanctuary under the Catholic church. I'm not Catholic, but I would think so.

It's funny how Diego's trying to teach Bernardo to play a string instrument when in real life Guy Williams was the one who was never able to learn guitar and Gene Sheldon was already a known banjo player.
