  • the boy in the striped pajamas almost got me

  • @NicenEasyuk the film is actually very inspirational, it about the boys dangerous friendship with a jew

  • simon birch anyone???

  • Yes would someone explain what it is that killed the kids/men ?

  • @miclady It was the gas

  • @miclady Zyclon b i think, i've never seen that film. I don't think I want to. :/ kinda creeped me out

  • @miclady cyanide as soon as it was spilled into the building it turned into gas killing them

  • Ghost???

    Patrick & Demi

  • Of Mice and Men was very sad too

  • What happened in 6:00

  • The green mile is so sad!! :'(

  • We had to watch The Boy in the Striped Pajamas in school and I was seriously trying sooo hard not to cry.

  • 1 of the best king adaptations top class movie

  • Really? No Brooks death from the shawshank redemption?

  • Lion King?

  • Are you kidding? You people honestly think there's something sadder than The Boy In The Striped Pajamas?!? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING. You know the Holocaust really happened, don't you? You know what they did to those people at that moment in the movie was really done to innocent Jews, right? Recreating that in a movie, and adding the break down of a mother mistakenly losing her son, you get endless tears. If you really think there's something sadder than that, there's something wrong with you.

  • @MsPinkZebraz Yes. John Coffey. He had commited NO sons throughout the expanse of His life, and He was executes in public... Innocent, yet he was still killed. All of those guards knowing that, and having it haunt them...

  • @MsPinkZebraz people in my history class made fun of people crying at the end of that movie i cussed them the fuck out

  • @MsPinkZebraz their uneducated in the past they may say they knew what it was but doesnt mean they know how they were killed and such.i think they think they just died sitting in the camps when they didnt die from just that

  • I haven't got to see Green Mile I know is an amazing movie I heard it , sure I have to see it bc I know is really sad, n although I may cry more of just by watching it ,idon really care..

  • the ending from the road should surely claim the top spot

  • Pay it forward and Ladder 49 should definitely be on that list too!! they're so sad! Bridge to Terabitha is really sad too!! :(

  • @bunnybu1010 Ohhhh ok i see Thais for telling me :) :)

  • marley and me????????????

  • @hanroxdaworld I would've added it in, but this top 10 saddest movie scenes video was made before I saw it. However it is in my top 10 :)

  • HACHIKO?!?!?! where is he?!?!!?!!??!?!?!?!!!

  • *tear* I have seen that movie a million times and still cry *tear*

  • ill miss you.... John Coffee

  • titanic is supposed to be number one

  • @shred Itchy is both, an ignorant troll.

  • bitch please, where is hachiko?

  • For me, The Green Mile is the most saddest song, always crying in this moment of the movie...

  • I lol'd at the comments.

  • green mile was a sad movie but a great movie

  • The Boy in Stripped Pajamas was incredibly sad but I'm not entirely sympathetic to a Nazi officer's family....you reap what you sow...

  • You made up for including Adam Sandler in "Click" by including John Coffey's Execution in "Green Mile"...Such an AMAZING MOVIE and the book was even better.

  • i cried at the boy in the striped pjs when i first saw it n i love how when the wife figured out about her husband flipped out and left him

  • The ending part just makes me want to kill every fucking nazi in this cruel world.

  • the green mile (la milla verde)

  • You all should see grave of the fireflies. Shit's sad as hell.

  • The last movie is my next favorite after green mile. Thank's for sharing. Happy new year.

  • how can u ppl be so emotionless..that was sooo sad :(:(:(:(:(:(

  • There's no evidence the holocaust ever happened...

  • @itchybo510 You're trolling right? Still standing concentration camps, survivors, eyewitness accounts, what more evidence do you need?

  • @iangarnettify But that was just downright depressing. It didnt make me cry it just made me feel like shyt for the next few days. Ugh what a heavy movie even remembering it is making me depressed.

  • @OnlineSarcasmFails Really? That's what a lot of people say but I found it far more sad than depressing.

  • @iangarnettify All i am saying is that there is no real evidence.

  • @itchybo510 what would classify as "real evidence"

  • @iangarnettify Are you mad bro?

  • @itchybo510 LOL i fuckin knew it

  • @itchybo510 obvious troll is obvious

  • @itchybo510 Ummm..... Simply because you ignore something doesn't make it untrue. The Holocaust is one of the worst things humanity has ever witnessed. People just don't grasp the brevity of it. Millions of innocent women, men, and children were slaughtered.

The Japanese still deny the Rape of Nanking. It's the same case. If people did something THAT horrible, of course denial is gonna happen.

  • @TheShredworthy Look it's not real get over it.

  • @itchybo510 Can't tell if trolling or just ignorant.

  • @TheShredworthy either way its nothing to joke about.

  • @itchybo510 there's no evidence? What about my dead ancestors?

  • The boy in the stripped pajamas ughh so sad ,dumb dad

  • y didnt u put the names of the movies in the description....lazy =p

  • Great movies, but #1 sux'd,. Movie The Mist had a sad ending.

  • the movie crash where the little girl gets shot. that made me cry so hard

  • The Boy in the striped pyjama is so sad. I watched it in school with my English teacher. Everybody had to cry. :S

  • What's the first video?

  • @RosalieAvonside first one is the green mile

  • What's the first video?

  • No. You have the best Nmbr 1 I have seen. I totally agree. Made me cry for days. thank you.

  • erm green mile should be no. 1

  • ending song?

  • Anne frank is the worst saddest fuckin Nazi movie there is

  • the boy in the stripped pajamas was the saddest movie on earth

  • 4:04 shemial looks so cute.

  • the no1 should of been marly and me

  • no. 1 just made me cry

  • How about Neverending Story, when Artax dies?

  • This was only 2 scenes.. and one was like 7 minutes long.

  • Wow. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas was No. 1? Well, this is your list and I will respect that. At least your top choice was a Holocaust movie. And granted I haven't seen the movie, but this scene really is brutal to watch.

  • Steven spielberg's Empire of the sun have made me cry

  • what about slc punk heroin bobs death

  • OMG boy in striped pyjamas was really really sad...made me want to beat up nazis. bad.

  • I cried too when John Coffey died. I was fourteen back then.

  • the last one was more horrifying than sad

  • Was that mr. kinedy?

  • I cried my eyes out when Bela Lugosi died in Ed Wood. The saddest movie for me, though, is an easy answer. Grave of the Fireflies. The ending made me literally fall to the ground crying.

  • Can someone explain the last one to me? Is it just because the kid got killed? It's #1 so i kinda wanna know why its sad, thanks

  • @mattbaker32 There's ALOT of spoiler to it. The boy's father runs a Nazi concentration camp and the boy makes friends with a Jewish boy in the camp unknown to his family and thinks their prison uniforms are pajamas. One day, the Jewish boy sneaks him a set and the other boy joins them for the day. Ironically, that day is the day when they execute the prisoners.

  • @ShaDHP23 Oh okay, thank you! That sounds like a good plot!

  • Good compilation, but I've got 2 movies that have all of these beat: A Moment To Remember & More Than Blue (Especially the latter).

  • Okay, so, in The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, the son of the SS officer, Bruno, befriends a Jewish boy in the concentration camp. At the end of the movie, the boy's father goes missing, so Bruno changes into a stolen prison uniform and goes in to help him find his father. The two boys end up in a group of Jews who are being brought to the gassing chambers. The Jews are told they are there to take a shower, but the Nazis pour Zyklon B in, killing them, including Bruno.

  • Thing is you kinda have to see the whole film, watching 1 scene doesn't give you the full impression.

  • the boy in the striped pyjamas i s the saddest movie of all time... i cryed so much

  • Where is the lion king, the part that simba loses his dad?! It always makes me cry!

  • @KarlijnTjeeeh It is in part 1, I think.

  • No Schindlers list?

  • everytime i see the boy in the stiped PJs i cry i cant even look at the book cover or i feel sad Hilter was a b!tch :[ and stupid how could he EVER think blonde hair and blue eyes was the right thing to have :[ <|3 alot of people died cuz of him it amazing that Hitler never found out he was a Jew :[ i hate him so much it just HORRIBLE to know he would do that!!!

  • OMG WTF the gas chambers part got to me -_- how cruel

  • hachi a dogs tale is sad to and its a true story witch makes it even more sad

  • Hey man I dont know if you got these but of mice and men, the ending is real emotional especially at the part where there working together at the very end watch it and you'll see. And another one is "Where the red fern grows"

  • @pr4y3r13 Oh yeah, I've seen Of mice and men! I almost started crying when he shot poor 'ol lenny! D:

  • @bunnybu1010 The sad part for me was when they showed that flashback and he was george and lennie where throwin a sack onto the wagon

  • @pr4y3r13 omg even reading the book "Where the red Fern Grows" had me bawling :/ i hate when animals die in movies

  • I'm a 17year old boy and this is the only movie that made me cry :'(! Love this movie<3

  • I'm a 17year old boy and this is the only movie that made me cry :'(! Love this movie<2

  • The Green Mile is the only movie i've ever cried at. Come close in a few, but only Green Mile has tipped me.

  • End of LOTR 3 movie is not in your countdown...

  • @webgier Ah okay ^.^

  • @webgier congratulations...you're a sociopath.

  • @Reckin007 Why?

  • The Green Mile gets me everytime ='(

  • How come Saving Private Ryan isn't even on your list? That is one of the saddest movies ever made, FACT.

  • @ibqes It's not sad at all :I

  • the only thing I'd say is i think "into the wild" should be on this list somewhere, but that might just be me

  • I was bawling at the end of The Green Mile and I am a man

  • I watched The Green Mile when I was 10, should probably watch it again though as I don't remember much... Boy in th striped PJ's though, that was pretty sad. Found it kinda difficult to cry to though, just because I've cried to way too much holocaust stuff for it to be fresh anymore.

  • The Green Mile is prehaps the saddest movie ever

  • He wasn't putting anything on them it was a poison chamber, where they lock them all up and Poison them, which is why he was wearing a gas mask.

  • 240p.... we meet again!!

  • I will always say, thats the saddest movie scene ever, was the girl in red in Schindler's List.

  • why does the guy have to die in the green mile,

  • @luksports555 if you watched the movie he actually wanted to die... his "gift" was too much for him to live with. He was hurting so badly that it was humane to kill him even if they didn't want to do it.

  • elephant man is number 1 in my book

  • The boy in the stripped pyjamas is without a doubt the sadest film ever.

  • I'm glad the green mile is here, it's the only film to ever upset me, it was the last 15 mins

  • the boy in the striped pjs you would have to be the greatest friend ever to even cross the fence to be with him

  • @Candylover569 are you dumb he didnt know what it was a camp try watching the movie first champ and actually know what happenes

  • I just watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas the other day and literally bawled my way through the entire movie.

  • the green mile is the one that made cry

  • i didnt get it..... the boy in the stripped pjs was that water did they dround him how was he killed...... HOW DID HE EVEN GET THERE!!!

  • @caycay4722 he wasn't drowned, he was killed by the stuff they put in the shower head, and he got in there by digging a hole under the wire fence.

  • @caycay4722 I think you have to 2 do 2 things: 1st : READ SOME HISTORY BOOKS AND GET INFORMED ABOUT THE HOLOCAUST ok?... 2nd: WHATCH THE DAMN MOVIE. :) Then, come back here and realize how stupid your question is.

  • @zutanagd i dont know why you think you have the right to cyber bully me because i was on this and all i searched for was the ten saddest movies........ i had never even herd of this movie so stop talking to people out of the blu......... drop a pair while your at it

  • Green mile saddest movie :(

  • I think the saddest scene and happiest scene is from crash, I think you people know what I mean :)

  • In my opinion i would have Miracle at Saint Anne at 2, and Green Mile at 1. But The boy in the stripped Pj's was also very sad.

  • Yes due to old age

  • why is marley and me sad NO DOES THE DOG DIE

  • Oh god...

I didn't know movies like this existed and now I'm crossed between crying from the beauty and wondering what movies would be like without the 90's

Either way The Boy in Striped Pajamas just shows the full extent of the Holocaust

  • I loved the boy in the striped pajamas.

  • The boy in the stripped PJ's gets me every time. Partly because it is sad that the the main characters died, but mainly because stuff that actually happend.

  • green mile excruciatingly sad

  • My schhool did the Boy in the Striped pyjamas as a school play and the entire audience was in tears :'( such a beautiful story

  • What about Glafiator or the Last Samurai??

  • I watched The boy in the striped pyjamas in school and man it was hard to hide that i was tearing up.

  • I am so desensitized to films that The Boy in Stripped Pyjamas just bored me.

  • 90´s movies were the best !

  • @steroidsR4shitheads Oh my god that is the gayest thing I've ever read.

  • the green mile is a really good film

  • Boy in the striped PJs is the saddest thing i have ever witnessed. I have teared up at a few movies but i have never bawled like i did with this one. Being a jew like me makes it 10 times worse because you know that all of your relatives left behind in europe were killed this way. Theres no explaining the hatred i feel towards hitler, he was the most horrifying terrible excuse for life that ever existed.

  • Always makes me feel something when the mum starts to screaam! :/

  • I'm crying now I cant even watch the boy in the striped pajamas part

  • Blackhawk down, "nobody asks to be a hero" search it and watch the whoe vid.

  • I bawl like a baby every time I watch the Green Mile.

  • Oh, the Green Mile. You should have put Eduard's execution. That was horrible.
