Unemployment benefits for the thousands of jobless Americans is money that is ESSENTIAL to many families to survive & money that will be immediately SPENT to stimulate our economy & NOT simply saved in a bank account.

Wealthy Gov. Bobby Jundal who doesn't need this financial help, found it very easy to say that he'll refuse to accept this money that is needed by thousands of unemployed in his state.

I read the bill in 7 days. The bill DOES NOT say the increase in covering unemployed workers must be permenant.  There is something called a sunset clause that states have the right to include in order to change the law to accept this money. The sunset to take place upon the using up of all funds from the federal goverment.

Surely if the stimulus money is temporary, the laws that need to be changed (according to Mr. Jindal) can be changed back? Why would they have to stay permanently changed if it would hurt Louisiana in the long-term? The stimulus is a short-term boost to jumpstart the economoy. Can't he look past 2010? No law is permanent. If the people of Louisiana feel that after the time is up on this stimulus bill, things should go back to the way they were, then the law can and should be changed back. Look at California and Prop 8: gay marriage was legal for a while, now it's not. And it can change back again! Look at habeas corpus. Again, no law is permanent.
