@JDonahue79 Think if you sign in and try to play it it will work. From now on. You have to verifiy that your the creator. How would the New PS3 Model know that you made that gamesave???
@JDonahue79 i'm pretty sure you dont have to be online while you are playing. You just need to be on for a second in order for the psn network to put a copy of your account info on this ps3. Once your account info is on the PS3 i think you will be fine to disconnect the internet.
yeah, just found a gamefaqs thread about this. The FF13 save is tied to your psn account. The psn account must be on this ps3 in order for your save to work.
It looks like you CAN save, but that you have to log into the psn network so that the same user is logged into this slim ps3 as at home on your ps3 fat. Im guessing that your slim ps3 is not on the web so you haven't logged into your psn account. I would hook your ps3 up to the web at least long enough to log in, then you can probably unhook it and continue to save and play normally.

lol you have to creat a new user on the ps3 and sign up to the psn using your previus account on your old ps3and then it'l work

@samusaran11 Unfortunately, the PS3 that I use at home is a 60-gig launch model, and it wouldn't fit in well in my suitcase.
And the fact that you have to be online to play at all is udder bullcrap, especially since Final Fantasy XIII is a single player game.
If this is a form of copy protection, then the Blu-ray already has robust protection (AACS, ROM-Mark, BDplus)
