  • 80年のほうが好きだな~

  • ベーシストの変化でこうも変わるんですね♪

    桜井さんもナルチョもどちらも甲乙つけ難い。。。。。

  • Geez. Too good. Love these guys.

  • Bass鳴瀬のBlack Jokeは初めて見ました。

  • 強烈なイントロですね 最強です

  • I taught them all

  • these guys are so racist they put "black" in their song title

fuck all people who use the word "black". lol

on topic: these guys are just too good

  • 00:07 This intro sounds like T-Square's "Explorer".

  • Enorme!!!!!!!!

  • i like how after the orgasmic piano solo he points to the lead guy as if he was saying "HIT IT!"

  • These guys rock.

Can't help but be reminded of Sega Rally and a whole bunch of other Sega Saturn classic soundtracks hearing this.

  • Maybe because Issei Noro (guitarist of Casiopea) was a guest musician and producer with Sega Sound Team in 1989. Maybe because Minoru Mukaiya (keyboardist of Casiopea) arranged his own version of the music from Sega Rally 2 in 1992...

  • sono grandissimi mamma mia sono dei mostri a suonare xdxd

  • Is that Tetsuo? If not.. What happened to him?

  • Tetsuo is pursuing a solo career and is active. Think his last solo effort was something called "Samurai Hearts" a couple of years back. Did some work with the ex-Casiopea drummer Akiro Jimbo under the name of "Jimsaku". Google it to find out more ....... I like the new bassist's take on this but prefer Tetsuo's stellar playing ............

  • @jaco0639 instead of "Samurai Hearts", did you mean to say "Gentle Hearts" with Greg Howe & Dennis Chambers?

  • Korean people know and like Casiopea.

But I think Japanese young people seldom know Casiopea.I wish that they more concern about J-fusion music.

  • this song is the best, is it jazz?

  • Yep. J-Fusion, inspired by the early workings of the GRP artists (a la Lee ritenour, harvey mason, dave grusin ect...).

  • this is so tight . so time in life when you come across too many good musicians you just wanna say no one is the best

  • Thank you for posting the video. Is it a live performance in Korea? In Japan, Casiopea is known as 1st Japanese music group ever played in Korea. Unfortunately, Korea has stopped Japanese culture, including music, from entering into Korea for some 40 years because of a past colonization. Casiopea became a bridge of the two cultures. Awesome!

  • Does anybody miss the Brass Section with which Casiopea played this song (and Time Limit)?

  • As you may know the brass section comprised of Randy&Michael Brecker and David Sanborn participated only in the debut album of CASIOPEA released in 1979. Although the members of the section were great I prefer the songs played by the golden members, Noro, Mukaiya, Sakurai and Jimbo.

  • is the bassist tetsuo sakurai or yoshihiro naruse?

  • Naruse

  • How come I've been a huge fan of Level 42 for decades and only just heard of Casiopea today? These guys are the coolest!

  • @udopampel Dude, Check out Casiopea + Level 42 - Galactic Funk. That's the Only way to hear Casio42 (Casiopea Keyboardist Minoru Mukaiya calls Casiopea and Level 42, Casio42, collectively).

  • we are great people. apparently u racist people dont understand that many of us were killed by ku klux klan because we were black,we were separated by other people because we were black, some of us black people make themSELFS look bad,am i in a gang no,do i smoke drugs NO,do i live in an happy life YES,im black and in the 6 grade and my grades are outstanding,i can spell at 10 grade level, im not lying, im not cool and all but we deserve better from u people.

  • did you comment on the wrong video?

  • yeah, where the fuck did that come from? lol

  • Probably just P.O'd because the name of this song is "Black Joke".

  • everyone from all skin pigments have been targeted by some sort of assholes at some point. we have to stop differentiating eachother. we are all human.

  • Differentiation being what allows any form of prejudice to exist in the first place.

  • No, He's confused. Some Mistranslations may occur from JP to ENG.

A "Black Joke" might mean Dark Humor or violent jokes. I doubt Race has anything to do with it.

  • a bit like the term "Black Comedy"

  • Haha, the drummer looks so cool. So Japanese. I would like a smile from Issei Noro (the guitarist) though, but he's awesome anyway. This music is brill.

  • amazing omfg

  • no u suck for having such a narrow minded view!

  • why are metal heads so often complete retards?

and no it isnt weed, i smoke weed, but have a fairly open mind about music

  • Fuck metal.....This one song has more notes in it than all of the entire heavy metal bands combined.

  • The LAST 4 BARS of Issei Noro's Guitar Solo from "Asayake" ALONE has more notes in it than Every single song from ANY Heavy Metal Band.

  • Hey, it's a good solo but don't go starting fights with headbangers. If you want to find some musical heavy metal, find the for Spokes of the Wheel of Torment by Buckethead. Cobra's hood is another good track of his.

  • @Mowac and i think in this style of music every note has a lot of more meaning in it...

  • @Mowac I gave up metal for jazz fusion.

  • @ImperialArmour i applaud you good sir

  • @Mowac listen to necrophagist

  • brazilian swing!!!!

    japazilian!!!

    brazinese!!!

    casiopea ruleZ!!!!!!!!!

  • Sugoi desu ne!!!

  • Brings back memories....

    Thanks guys

    Long live CASIOPIA

  • excellent live performance!

  • this whole bands rules face

  • Issei Noro stole Allan Holdsworth's Jacket!!! :D

Shame hes bursting out of it! :(

Anyhow :) AWESOME song, awesome playing...Casiopea rock! :)

  • Akira rules!
