I just picked up a nice set today because I would like to start playing.. One question.. When do you get rid of the counters, and everytime you do an action when you already have a counter on him/her you you take a click of damage? Kinda confused about the counters and actions etc.. Late in the video it's scarecrow vs wonder woman. Scarecrow penetrating blast which does penetrating damage. I've read that it cannot be reduced. So why did you say it would not hurt her?

Since Green Lantern had two lightning bolts, he can attack two people right? In the event that he does, is there any kind of handicap to his damage? Like does he have to divide the damage on his click between the people he hit? Also, with two lightning bolts, can he attack one person twice?

@TheSilentShane ok good question. You can target two people but you have to divide the damge between the figures. or choose to give one figure all the damage. And you can not attack one person twice.

If you target more than one person, you still make one attack roll when you attack both. Its done all at the same time. I hope this helped.

so you can only use a range attack if you have a ability for a range attack for example a running shot... is it like that?

@kaz3ro69 to make a ranged attack you need to first have range on the dial. then if you do you can shoot within that range. But only if your not based with another figure, thats not your own. If thats the case you can only make close combat attacks. You dont only need running to shot to make a ranged attack but its one of the ways you can.

@Sttucker13 oh I think I know what your saying.. I was saying bonus for my defence due to standing in hindering. I scarecrow can only use objects if he has super strength, which he does not. he was just standing on it. does that clear up what you were asking.

I think a video that would help is how to build a strong team, what kind of characters/powers work well together... team builds with symbols. such as say a Superman Team vs. a Batman Ally team. (things like the stealth for bats vs. the see all ability of supes.)

Thank you. My 7 yr old and I've enjoyed watching these. We've just started playing and have enjoyed it. We've been mixing the sets we play with and battling DC vs Marvel. Not cannon, but fun. It also seems like the rulesets change a little each time it comes out.

@pguana3 you can mix all indy marvel and dc figures together ..... now the horrorclix really dont mix well. you can but alot will either be over or under powerd

@pguana3 I have read that DC characters are a lot more powerful than Marvel characters, so unless you do something to compensate for that, they don't mix well.

@simplelee92 Im going to just give a quick responds, you get a token for anything other than free actions. So basically you get a token when you move, attack, or use an abilitiy that is not a free action. Explain of a free action would be perplex, outwit, probability. And you have up to 2 tokens on a character but if you have two tokens you take pushing damage. So, only do that if needed. So first turn move, attack get a token. Next turn you can either clear them or push them.

If you do more videos a problem topic we have been running into are rules about terrain. That is the area where we are running into the most confusion.

which characters are allowed to pick up objects? WW has super strength which specifically mentions picking up objects, but other than that who's allowed to pick up objects and use them? also when Scarecrow is on top of the light object, is that allowed because he's a flyer and isnt affected by objects? thanks in advance, and im looking forward to your 2nd video on powers/abilities!!!

at the end when Wonder Woman charged on Scarecrow she could have grabbed the object he was standing on and used it in the attack.

@theWickedjohn Yeah, she would have been able to do that. I choose not to grab the object, even though it would have killed him. I thought for this beginners video I would leave it out to keep it more stream lined. I will make more advanced videos going over all the powers and what they are able to do. Thanks for the comment. For a real match one would have used the object if they knew they could pick it up.

Thank you again for these! You cleared up a really big issue that wasn't clear in the game I played last week (two beginners playing) in that when you push with willpower you have to clear, you don't just keep going endlessly. I'd to suggest that you do videos on bystanders, feats, battlefield conditions and event dials down the road, as I hear about them but have no idea how to use them yet. Again, thank you and keep up the great work!
