I recently discovered the Wheatus remake, and was a little disappointed by the official video, which I feel is inappropriately comic. This video, even though it's simple in comparison, makes a much better fit for this song. It captures the broken-hearted emptiness, the sense that you are just going through the daily motions, that life is slipping away from you, and the dreadful apathy of loneliness. Don't let these nitpickers tell you otherwise - this is a fantastic, even touching, video.
