I consider myself extremely lucky to have seen the Doors at that time. They played at the Berkeley Community Theatre on the Berkeley High campus for two shows in October 1967. My friend and I were pre-teens and were some of the youngest people there. Light My Fire hit Number One in early '67. During that summer, they went to NYC and did the Ed Sullivan show. About that time, Jimbo started wearing his trademark leather "lizard skin", which he wore in Berkeley. Best concert ever!
never thought i would get goosebumps from a marching band... and 3 months ago... i heard the cal band, and most videos i've seen... superb... this one is my favorite to date,... and it gives me the same or more goosebumps than the first time i saw u guys

@golffix99 I am insanely jealous. I'm only 24, but The Doors have been my favorite band since I was 5 - my parents have told me stories about my young self sitting in my carseat dancing to "People Are Strange". =)
