Alot of Americans would like to know exactly WHO is Obama and WHO is Hiliary? What is the definition of a President of the United States? What does it really mean to be President and what is the job of a President??? I was involved once in politics until I found out votes were bought, soooo does it really mean anything to vote or how many votes you can buy??? Does a person get to be elected if they get bought so many votes or does it really matter to punch a card? Who really wins?

OK forget the WAR issue, he made a "mistake" and voted NO to withdraw troops from Iraq in 2005. Nancy Pelosi announced to the world that once the dems took control over Congress they would be repealing the tax breaks that Bush gave his pals on Wallstreet/Oil companies. Hillary of course did the right thing and voted YES,& Obama voted NO. That is not a mistake.Obama is not just a flip floper, he is a hypocrite going around the Country telling everyonoe he is for "change" in Washinton.He's a Liar

Look, at least know the nature of the legislation. It was a vote to defund the troops -- not the 'war', not remove the troops.

Voting yes on that is STUPID, and morally reprehensable.

As for that oil legislation, it actually added restrictions to those oil companies.

Do NOT oversimplify legislation. That's why earmarks are an issue. People stuff bills with crap. Senators are constantly having to vote yes on those earmarks in order to say yes to the broader good of the bill.

I read his entire congressional record, did you? There is no excuse for Obama flipfloping on his voting record for the War,and then telling everyone he has ALWAYS been against the War. Three reactions is a start to getting a wide range of reactions. Some of the best comments I have heard so far are that Senator Obama met the controversy head on, explained a complex problem honestly and in depth and treated his audience like adults.

And the best line to many of my web friends was "I'm here because of Audrey." It's lousy as a glib 5 second soundbite, but a brilliant as a summation of a 30 minute speech on the promise of racial peace in America.
