Its almost impossible to blind yourself with those laser lights despite what the warnings and people that take those warnings seriously, say. Your eye closes with a quarter of a second, HEAPS of time before it can do any damage what so ever.

A laser light is akin to a light bulb, of course lookin at a light bulb for a few minutes may wreck your vision, but a second of it does nothing, same with a laser light, its not like their 100000 times more powerful.

That's only true if the surface is 99 % reflective of the light, such as in the case of a mirror. Floors and walls without that property won't be able to re-transmit the light at the same intensity, so no biggie.

I did this with a laser with my girlfriend's cat. My girlfriend was in the bathroom putting on makeup while her cat was "exercising" all round the living room - it was funny until I put the laser on the back of her leg, and her cat jumped on it with all claws extended. She didn't speak to me for two days, but after seeing this video, she thought it was kind of funny.

Please be a little more careful with that laser. Even these "toy" lasers are powerful enough to cause permanent eye damage - if not total blindness. And I would guess that a cat's eyes with its sensitive night vision is even more susceptible to laser damage than a humans. Several times in that video the beam landed either on or dangerously close to your cat's eyes. I'm sure you love your pet enough not to want to blind it.
