Love all of those cute Kawaii food stamps! So adorable:). Great technique!!! I have those valentine day stamps as well, I should break them out and use them for this vday.
Coool!!!!! I would never have thought of that! I'm definitely going to try that! Thanks for the tip and, please, do some tutorials! You rock! Cheers from France, S.
Love the idea..... I have 0 Copics to expensive for me, but I have a hard time with my dye ink and water color pencil blender chewing up my paper and I don't want to buy water color paper because I am not that good and would waste it! I will try alcohol as a blender ;) TFS
Very cute! You have just inspired me to take out my Prisma Color Pencils. I have a box of 120 laying around from my days of Design School. Not sure why I lost my inspiration to color, could have gone away when I lost my Mom. You can find gambol at your local Dick Blick art store or their online store. Anyways, TFS!
You can buy the Gamsol from Inky Antics...that's where I got the stumps and Gamsol! I've had this bottle of Gamsol for about 1 year....it goes a long way!!
man ohh man.. i'm jealous!! you did better than i did. i watched the same vid from scrappyhour09..i tried to find gamsol @ michaels but never found it at all the M's here.. i tried the watercolor with miniral spirits (gamsol) from homedepot.. IDK didn't look good. then i tried with primsa scholar color pencils.. hmm idk i think its just me!! LOL ok its me. i'm not good at it.. you did AWESOME!!!
I have been using Prismacolor pencils and gamsol for several months, now, and I love the effects I can get. I find coloring images quite relaxing and a lot of fun.
Very cute stamps! I've been experimenting with my prismacolor pencils lately. I could not find "gamsol" but I did find odorless mineral spirits at Michaels. I couldn't se myself getting into copics. I did get the Bic Mark It markers to use and I heard you can use the alcohol blending solution that you can get at Michaels with those as well so I'm looking forward to trying that as well. Thanks for sharing! :D
I have the 72 set of prisma colored pencils and the Gamsol.. I love the look it gives also... You will not find Gamsol at Michaels.. but other odorless mineral spirits.. You will find Gamsol at Dick Blick Art supply...
hi there its Deb i just ordered those stamps..thank you so much they are so cute i also ordered tea party..what great prices they have and the shipping was only 4.00 can't beat that...thanks...hugs Deb
@mommytomario I put the link to the stamps in the info for the video, they're by My Cute Stamps- aren't they adorable?! Gamsol is a a brand of odorless mineral spirit- so if you can find odorless mineral spirits, any brand will work :)
@LovemyElla yeah, ive heard that regular prisma's work great with the gamsol. im so excited to try! watercolor pencils were all i had sitting around....but they work great!
I use this all the time!!! its soo fun, make sure you get a paper pencil where it looks like a pencil butis all paper to dip in the gamisal (sp?) Sooo much cheaper than copics!!
If you dont want to use a copic blender, you can always just a water brush instead.
