  • u make edf rookies look like pros in this vid......my 1st edf landings make me look like a master compared to this...i was flying a sabre so no crying about swept wings blah blah blah

  • rcpowers....the premier rc money WHORE

  • perhaps they should have designed it with a leading edge slat and trailing edge flap to make it more stable at airspeeds its operated at.

  • oh my shoes and glasses

  • Anytime a video is titled trying to land, and it's over 8min. You know it's going to be a fun video to watch.

  • "Look how far out you are."

    In more ways than one.

  • 1:06 EPIC FACE!!!!

  • This guy does not understand aeronautics at all.....maybe in model format but not real aircraft.

  • @Mondscheinfpv Yeah I actually agree.

  • Pause at 1:05.

  • is this a rtf or a artf

  • @TheShowbiz28197 this jet comes ready to fly but is also offered as an reciever ready version too on nitroplanes.

  • LOL! So cool! God bless you guys!

  • Flaps would have been better than spoilerons

  • Who the hell are these people? Do they make the airplanes, test them, then sell them?

  • 2:40, didn't know that. What about Swept Forward wings though?

  • Lol, Best cam freeze EVER! But yea that first attempt was strange. >_>

  • in the second flight the plane almost crash on to the electronic line

does your back gear is broken?

  • in the second flight the plane almost crash on to the electronics.

  • That thing is really unstable. O_o

  • LOL Keith "See what you did"?

  • Doesn't he remind you of the guy from American pickers?

  • Not to mention of this jet being underpowered thats why you have to fly it at full power. The mig-15 will fly slow but just make your turns large and shallow because like the real mig it tip stalls very aggressively thats why there were soo many bad landings with the real mig.

  • Man, if this toy mig is stalling a lot, imagine how often real Migs stall.

  • Great video :) Lol about the front landing gear burn on the foam :D

  • look a fagot

  • how long do the batteries "live" for, like how long till a recharge/change of batteries?

  • Keith has all the reason... and you dont need airbrakes, I have the same plane !!!

  • Whats hilarious is that there's so much dialog and sound in general from the flight and then all of the sudden at 3:01 the only thing you can hear is that mouse across the field peeing on a cotton ball for 3.5 seconds and then everybody's brains kick in and says...........BREATHE!!..and all resumes... funny stuff!!...I'm all too familiar with that trio of holding your breath, wishing, and praying at the same time... just to get it on the ground in less than 3 pieces...good stuff!!

  • These are the videos i miss!

  • Haha, my dad says "moh betta" like that just to be funny.

  • Did you ever check the CG

  • So why doesn't keith ever fly

  • Dave, the MiG 15 were always notorious for coming in hot for landing. Lots of accidents happened because of it, also those bounces are the same as the real ones did. I say it's a very, very accurate model plane. I say try a MiG 21 Fishbed model, those are real speedsters, also a lot more stable at lower speeds, lands "oh very nice". Not to mention the MiG 21 is the most beautiful jet to this day :P

  • also you turn it as soon as you take off. as soon as you do this the wing stops producind lift, so the plane therefore must get its lift from the side of the fuselage. this works with planes like the extra 300 that have a larger side area but not with a mig 15 which dosent have much side area.

and, if you would have left those smaller elevators on you wouldnt have had the elevator authority to be able to put it into a stall in the first place.

  • your problem is that youve added what looks like an nine gram servo as far back as you possibly could, pluse youve got the weight of the linkages and glue as well as the bigger elevators you put on it. this will make it tail heavy, if it isnt tail heavy then you must have added nose weight which will have made the whole plane heavier anyway. adding airbrakes would just make it heavier and therefore worse.

  • the best way to land in a short dostance put 1/4 throttle toward wind and make shure ur far away and glide it in if needed give more thrust

  • im so pissed ive got an RC mustang but i lost the charger !!!

  • "you ever see ur plane fly away and u go i wish i had my name on it ....... then it flys a little farther and you go im glad i didn't put my name in it and causes a crash on the free way and ok it says dave powers and hay a phone number NO it says rone owens 555-555-5555" halarious :DDD

  • i have successfully flown the 4 channel ultra micro t 28 and ultra micro p 51.is this a good next step plane?

  • @zyx514 no did you see how fast it lands and how easy it is to stall

  • @zyx514 u need a larger t 28 the big 1

  • Your plane should always be slightly nose heavy! Add some weight to the nose OR shift the radio more forward.

  • It looks like your center of gravity is towards the back. Your center of gravity should be more toward the front of hte plane so it can fly better.

  • Oh my, oh my shoes and glasses

  • nice jump and soft landing man i loved it nice...

  • dont see what the hobo with the orange shirt is there for

  • I love that..."oh man...OH MAN...OOHHHH" xD thats a true "ahhhhhhh ffucccckkkk"

  • thats a plane you land in grass not in pavment unless you have rubber wheels

  • I love these videos...

  • lol not so great flying

  • your my idol now man

  • thrust is not enough...?

  • if you watch nitroplanes video on this plane they fly very nice and slow so idk what dave is talking about how you have to go full. maybe more action packed?

  • @magicmike1122 mine flies and lands easy, although it does stall during turns at low speed, so you want to just fly straight/level as you come in for a landing, but it slows down easy. Wonder why he is having so much trouble. I love RcSuperPowers vids though!

  • OH MY SHOES AND GLASSES.

  • You are lucky you have a good Camera man (I mean woman). In my experience that is the hardest thing in flying...I have lost so many cool moments (and great crashed) that where not captured for future generation :-)

  • i want one

  • holy shoes and glasses.

  • Ah! You think that crash into the fence was bad? I bought a BAe hawk, couldnt pull out of a dive and hit the ground full speed... It was ok until the Lipo inside exploded.... Haha!

  • pitch controls airspeed, throttle controls altitude. that is how it in in real airplanes.

  • Might be an idea to balance that extra weight in the tail ? Servo, push rod, clevis, control horn ? At extreme back end of plane ? About 5grms or more ? That means 15 - 20 grms on nose compensator.

  • Original crash - no surprise really ... too large elevators now stalling her out, coming in over buildings etc. that mean you're too high too late ... Migs and most 'jets' like this need long run-ins and low .... not drop in and dump !

  • "Oh my shoes and glasses!!" xD

  • bad landing :(

  • 6:14

    Emergency landing...

  • 6:06

    Engine failure...

  • can you make a plane that can sweep its wings out while in flight?

  • A less sensitive elevator could help

  • haha i love oldmans comments

  • Yet another video I crylaughed at. These are so enjoyable

  • that bonce at 3:00 is awesome

  • what about thrust reverse!!?? never seen it before on an rc plane!

  • type in 4d rc plane on youtube. You can see planes flying backwards!

  • look up neffwaffe on here, his channel is all electric planes he built from scratch. and he has an MD80 with thrust reverse.

  • OMS LOL

  • Thumb flyer!

  • oh shoes and glasses, lets bang those open. hahahahaha

  • you should make an app for this

  • For your information, the real MiG-15's have air brakes in exactly the spot you put your hands when you said, "Does it come out the back?"

  • Dude... here's an idea...

You build good stuff... take a step further and build a plane with JETS... that would be just AWESOME, sort of your holy grial.

  • go with a mig-17, it has a strait wing root for stabilization, but still has a swept main wing

  • oh my shoes and glasses

  • THRUST REVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you need to flair sooner

  • I was just hoping to spark Dave into commenting to prove that he still exsists... I need more RCPowers videos!

  • No dave did not die WHERE DID U HEAR THAT

  • you are so cool

  • Where are the videos DAVE, 2 months and no video.

  • nice vid dave but what happened to the vtol plan??5/5

  • cg problim

  • TAIL HEAVY!!!

  • is there a vid of the mig with the air brakes i cant find it

  • Where are the RC videos!?!

  • Where are all the RC videos Dave? & Where R U Dave? We want an other one just like the other one. G O D A V E WHERE ARE THE RC VIDEOs this is is months old.

  • you call that fast nightflyyer has a very fast jet and he can land it

  • happy party ~ enjoy

  • I saw a real live Mig-18 at an airshow on the runway WITH RED BULL PAINT!

  • ave looks "tail heavy"

  • That mig looks tail heavy.

  • yo miss the videos whats up...what happen to F-35 ?????

  • Land it in the grass so you slow down faster.

  • i bet u cudve gotten a better landing at the rose bowl because u were missling it in the ground because you were probably distracted by the swing sets

  • after seeing this .. theres gonna be no way that im trying anything with a ducted fan .. im not sure if its just this particular model but the fact that everything happens so fast and needs too otherwise it crashes I think ill stick to prop planes .. you can get them to go fast but you can also get them to land slow under most conditions

  • Swept wings don't like to slow down. I am not sure they completely understand ducted fans. Throw some flaps on it and you are good to go. Scale stall speed of this aircraft is 160mph. If you put a ducted fan on a Cessna 172 it would be just as stable and would slow at the same rate as it would with a prop...Bla..bla...bla...... It's the airframe not the fan...:)

  • dave where to watch the lastest rc show?

  • DAVE PLEASE GO BACK MAKING R/C VIDEOS!!!

WHY DID U HAVE TO BE SO BUSY ON OTHER STUFFS!!

I MISS U thorughout the summer

CAN U PLEASE START MAKING R/C VIDEOS SOON!!

  • depends on the type of plane. If its a smaller sized electric then a micro servo. bigger-than use a standard servo.

  • Comment removed

  • guys i need to know where to get this stuff

i only got petrol powered englins

i cant find gd electric ones cuz u can fly those in a public field

  • go to nitroplanes . com

  • lol looks fun

  • airlinerdude12, so what it does look "cool"

  • Also- swept wings at this scale at at the 1/24th speed its going of a real aircraft, its not giving you anything beneficial

  • well rc planes are not rocket science

  • Shut up!.

its a true fact now live with it! :D

  • fine wat eve

  • hey i have that transmitter for my cessna 182 from art tech!

  • 1947 mercury123 is verrrrrrry man !

  • I absoultley love this plane.

  • Comment removed

  • Do you guys have a store in Illinois

  • hey guys i found out how to save a puffy battery. you need to act as soon as possible after a flight. put the battery in the freezer on a piece of meet it works i swear.

  • thx ill do that when i get one ;)

  • hey Dave i just bought a F-16 on nitroplanes for my 14th b-day and i have no idea if its broken or not but the problem is that the wing flap gear things(i forgot what their called) arent moving so can you please help me in any way possible thank you and i love your shows please respond thanks

  • go to r c d i s c u s s . c o m without spaces

  • wow how many planes does he own

watch my Worlds smallest and cheapest Model RC Plane ^.^

  • he builds and buys and modifys them :)

  • i have the same exact knife mine came with a set

  • Dave my man...you have superior R/C airman skills. Don't be afraid to fly it slower on final. Provided you do not perform any steep turns that will RAISE THE STALL SPEED and cause an "induced stall" due to added g forces increasing the "critical angle of attack", the aircraft should fly just fine. Practice slow flight at altitude to determine what the MCA (minimum controllable airspeed) is, then fly it on final approach at that speed plus a few. Did you see how well it tracked on the bounce?

  • correction, steep turns raise the speed at which the critical AOA is exceeded causing a stall. :)

  • outstanding job guys. Tie the air brakes in with the Aileron system or the rudder system and you will see some crazy turns. Remember your early fighter acft reqiured drag shuts to land. It is fun to watch you guys go thru the paces of early AV. I teach ACFT Mech in NYC and I enjoy sending my students to your vids Keep up the good work.

  • in the other video you said how small the elevators where

you put bigger ones on so you have alot more authority

if you left the old ones on you wouldnt stall because you wouldnt be able to get the aeroplane into that angle of attack

  • Hot Glue is the greatest !!!

  • nice are you going to try it with the things out the side to slow it down?

  • wtf is molbata

  • I've always used 5 minute epoxy sold in the big squeeze bottles at hobby shops. It's fast, and strong- and no electricity needed. I guess I've always considered hot melt glue something people use for arts and crafts.

  • "OH MY SHOES AND GLASSES!"

  • he needs a practice i totally agree with you. beginners will probably give this comment a thumbs down.. advance guys you know what im talking about.

  • way to grease it in Dave!

  • WOW what a nice plane !!

  • Id like to see it fly with those air brakes on the side like you were talking about.

  • I love to watch, but you get so extravagant with what to do with the airplane, with this airplane, the BEST thing to do is add flaps!!!!! create more drag and more lift to fly at lower speeds!!!!

  • These guys inspired me to get into rc plane, bought my first £20 one today woop lol

  • hey dave how much is it my dad wants to get a mig can you sudgest a better one?

  • that is where the air brakes are appose to be at. and they open towards the cockpit.

  • Great monday show guys

  • Sweet, reminded me of my first few landings in the good 'ole C-152!

  • werent there supposed to be a monday show today?;s

  • 5* just for Dave's impression of the rudder - ROFL - had to watch it 3 times.

  • Ok Dave, jets require a little more room, speed and precision.

  • Do they make fantasy planes or are they all models of actual planes?

  • This one is of an actual plane (Russian Mig-15)

  • those loose speed soooo qick....

  • I've got a paraglider too. Anyways, verrrrry nice.

  • YES!!! KEITH got his paraglider done and flying... SWEET..

  • true

  • i hear that your family members say the same about you

  • can be. but this comment is so low that i wont even go further over it...

  • Nah, we love Keith

  • "Dave to slow the plane down turn the rudder one way and the ailerons the opposite way. its called a slip and its a method real pilots use to slow down old planes with no flaps. don't turn them too far though because you'll end up in an aggervated stall

  • I thought only gliders do that. could work though. :)

  • Comment removed

  • Cant wait till next week ;-)

  • uggghhh u guys commenting r retarded.

the smaller props with more blades (ducted fan) = little acceleration lots of speed.

big props with low pitch = acceleration

big props with high pitch= slow acceleration high speed.

  • nice job dave it was very messed up on the last run and do you know what you allmost done it again LOL GREAT VID

  • Val, you're great at tracking with the camera!

  • Top flying mate.

  • isnt ur f22 raptor like 50 times faster than that thing?

  • Sweet a paraglide. I was thinking of how to buidl a scratch buidl cause all the ones i find are arm and half a leg.

    BruceM

OHH and nice save on the last landing

  • Thanks Dave, another fun filled video to enjoy. Cant wait until u modify it and fly it again. Let thismodel be the very next vid u make.

    John. Canada.

  • hahaha I love your videos!

  • I had a battery that got mowed once. Left it out one day, came back and found pieces of the cover and the cord chopped in half haha.

  • the airbrake on that is on te belly

  • that old man cramps your style hard

  • you must be new here...

  • sry, he does know alot about RC.. my bad
