  • Now you just need to build a custom subwoofer enclosure so you can put it behind the couch or under that coffee table.

  • Hey, noticed this tour is posted twice. If you have some time would you do an in depth on the Nmedia 2000b please? I thought there would be some on u-tube but didn't find any so far. I'd like to get some close ups on the LCD display. Newegg lists that as an extra option you can buy, so did yours come w/ the display or did you buy that as an add-on? Also I want to see how that looks up close. I would also like to hear more about the media center, where is it from & some more detail @ it. TU

  • @Bdubslawman sure, it may be a few weeks, grad school and work has me swamped, but make a video that looks at the pros and cons of it. I bought the VFD screen on ebay, because I wanted blue, I believe newegg only has green (thats where I got the case). The VFD screen looks great straight on, but if you mount it low it can get a little washed out and there is no way ot adjust the contrast or brightness as far as I can tell. I messaged you my email if you have more questions id be happy to help

  • @Bdubslawman video made, article with lots of photos on the way

  • Not sure why, but everyone says they get a much better Wii picture using the Monster or Rocketfish component cables. Not sure why. I guess it has to do with the three seperate signals getting processed better than trying to break down all the data from just the one composite. I'm sure extra shielding plays a factor too.

btw, you have a really nice setup for such a small space available. Well done.

Someday, I'll get around to posting a vid of my gadgets. I'm too darn lazy though.

  • @PatriotCondor If you use the component cables the picture will look better, it allows allows you to get 480p instead of just 480i out of the wii, I have been meaning to get a component cable for sometime now.

  • If I was to get a Monster Component video cable for my Nintendo Wii, can I assign one of the component inputs (cab/sat) for the "Game" selection?

  • @PatriotCondor Yes, you can change it so that when you hit "game" it shows the signal from the Cab/Sat component input.

  • Very Nice! But Why do you watch films with these borders on your tv?

  • @johannsemailaddresse Thanks for watching! I was viewing OTA HDTV and my computer doesnt automatically adjust for the bars. I can select different modes to stretch the screen, but I must have forgot to adjust it prior to making the video.
