princezZz007 i must correct that she was not giving back His ring as that was the engagement ring that Raruol have her and she in love and compassion gave the most precious thing to her at the time to the Phantom so he would always remember her and proved that she did love him. Pure love there. And he kept it as a token for years until she passed and he left it at her gravestone, proving to Raroul he was still thinking of them. not in jest but love.

@paultiersboudior Well, if you think about it, Micheal's make-up would have had to be much more pronounced and dramatic so people all the way in row X could see it. Gerard's make-up, on the other hand, needn't be so intense as the camera could get right up to his face. I do agree though. The stage version of the disfigurement is nothing short of incredible.
