He's not as bad as she is. I don't know why every community/college actress I've seen feels the need to portray Evelyn as a major bitch right off the bat. It shouldn't be so blatant. The audience needs to figure out that she's manipulative as the drama unfolds. Not right up front.

What the hell are they doing? PLAY with eachother. Where's the stakes in the scene? Dude: stop ACTING uncomfortable, stop INDICATING and simply hit her hard with your best tactics. Flirt with her. Give her something to resistance against. WIN YOUR GODDAMNED OBJECTIVE and be just yourself.
