Bea Benaderet is "Mrs. Krause". Jack's ad-lib reference to the "Krauses" having their own show at 6:17 is a reflection of a running gag where he was jealous of Dennis Day and Phil Harris having radio shows of their own that season...
The cast, as seen in the above 1947 photo (left to right):
Eddie "Rochester" Anderson, Dennis Day. Phil Harris, Mary Livingstone, "a cheap, vain, radio personality who's also a lousy violinist", Don Wilson, and Mel Blanc.
Why is Jack grimacing? Because everyone else is listening to "THE FRED ALLEN SHOW"! ;)
I read the book "Sunday Nights At Seven" by Jack and Joan Benny... very interesting insight into Benny, including both his professional and private lives. Well worth the read.
