Lori's Law: The 10 Year Rule for Spousal Support

Although I was not happy to read about the case in Canada; at least that is not the law in Califorina!

Unfortunately when parties marry and one person stays home or earns less money that does cause the Courts to attempt to even the playing field.

Is this when I suggest looking at money on an equal basis as love?

In Canada a long-term marriage is after only 5 years .. and remarriage does not stop spousal support - my ex is remarried .. working, so is her new husband and she received half my military pension $187,000 after taking every penny of our savings and running up the credit cards before she left. Our divorce law says that both parties will become self-sufficient after the divorce - and neither party will benefit from the divorce - neither is being followed - see end indefinite spousal support!

I say fuck spousal support! How the hell can you be with someone else when you have to support another person? Child support is not perminant but this shit is?
