  • rick dias right?

spelling might be off but im guessing thats the suit

  • brown red?

it seems like no one knows what maroon is anymore

  • Interesting paint. Airbrushing takes time to learn. I was a rattle can man for a long time but now I love airbrushing. You'll get the hang of it.

  • looks zeon but i cant quite tell if its a gouf dom gelgoog or zekueins

  • You're working on the HGUC Xekueins

  • also,it looks like its made of the material the Covenant from Halo use to make their vehicles and stuff out of,the way it changes color like that.

  • That looks like some kind of Dom or Rick Dom,or Rick Dias maybe

  • So, basically it's a pearlescent paint?

  • You now have a kit that can go transam.

  • Wow, this is very impressive paint. Unfortunately rustoleum do not sell this at the moment in Ireland (they do however have a decent range available) . I think it will be tricky to match this effect using a airbrush and pearl powder, the rustoleum looks perfect.

Good to see you back working on Gunpla Sir!

  • I use alchol and then let them air dry i never use soap

  • The squiggles u are getting are from the the natural oils from human skin when i do stuff like this i was with gloves on and then after i uses gloves to handle what im working with maybe that will help u

  • @leblanc116 But I cliped them to the sticks, washed them and never touched them again. Should I be using something besides dawn dishwashing detergent?

  • xekuins :)

  • imma look for that kind of paint and make a Kamen Rider Hibiki custom color mobile suit

  • Neato! I got some stuff that does that but I bet mine cost me a tonne more than Rustolium in a can.

  • @2Old4Toys 16 dollars for this stuff, but it sprays HARD. two coats on all of these parts amd the can feels almost out. Do you have the pearl powder for use in an airbrush?

  • @BikerTrashWolf Man, you might want to get an outlet cover. on those outlets... A bit of an electrical hazard there. =) Anyway, that paint is pretty cool...

  • Damn bro, that is some hella nice paint!

  • Right on man, can't wait to see the finished product.

  • @StrawHatLaw13 Hopefully will be done before I go back to work.

  • i searched the lowes site online and could not find this paint i even looked on the tustoleum paint site could you share where you found this paint?

  • That paint is made for a Seed/Destiny 00 Gundam kit...I can see the Strike Rouge or the Destiny painted with color changing paint.

Or for the 00 lead Gundams, this paint could be a new way to show the Trans-Am effect

And it would be cheaper than buying a Bandai "special color" repainted kit.

  • @likeits1985 thats kinda what I was thinking as well since on Seed they had the Phase shift armor, (thinks thats what it was called) going to be playing with some pearl powder in the future, might do a Strike rouge with alot of pink pearl so that unless the light catches it right it looks whit e but under the right light it will shine pink.

  • A very cool paint. i may have to try that. Thanks for the heads up and have fun building!

  • oh thats your HGUC Zeku eins, the paint looks really awesome, it will probably end up looking great when finished, i assume there are other colours or is it just the blue/purple/red spray paint?

  • @L2W272 there will be other colors and not just a blob of swirling colors.

P.S. You are right on the kit as well.

  • @BikerTrashWolf ok then, well i think these colour changing paints would work awesomely with zeonic suits, i may need to look into them

and yay i guessed right :)

  • i wanna say thats a rick dom
