I saw Larry Norman twice in Toronto, Canada. The first one he was a guest of Andre Crouch gospel concert and the last one he was playing in a church a few years before he died. What a great Christian rocker.
THE SONG " DEVIL WOMAN", WHO STILL FIT IN A CHRISTIAN SHOW, IN THAT IN THE BOOK OF PROVERBS, MANY OF THE VERSES WARN ABOUT THE VERY KIND OF WOMEN THE SONG MENTIONS.
I love these songs and this video. I saw Larry Norman in concert at The Royal Albert Hall in London in 1975. He and Cliff Richard together on this song is fantastic.
I wish they'd sang "She's just a devil Woman..." together. That would have been awesome, but I guess it wouldn't go over so well on a Christian program. Too bad because that's one of the things Larry was trying to change about Christianity - That it's ok to listen to the music on the radio because a Christian knows right from wrong already and "why should the devil have all the Good Music?" Rock n' Roll people!
RARE ? ! tha't simply phenomenal , and how you found it , saved it , just no words to say how great this clip is - thank you so very much for sharing it !!
Vous voulez voir les pionniers du rock chrétien... voici un super chant avec Cliff Richard et Larry Norman, je les ai vu en concert tous les deux à l'époque...
I've enjoyed Larry's music for decades. But I am sad by the "churchianity" treatment around the fact that, after helping launch Randy Stonehill's career, Randy's wife divorced him after falling in love and then "marrying" Larry. Where was the light of truthful treatment, of "Jesus People" honesty? And what are the future ripple effects in terms of legacy and witness to others? Nevertheless, what a gifted artist.
This Is One Of My Favorite Songs Also For Sure-JESUS COMING VERY Soon and then Can NoOne neglect HIM THE TRUTH-JESUS-Jump on The Eternal Love-Grace-StormWind-FireLight-CROSS-Eagle-Space-Rocket-Ship-JESUS-CHRIST-Jump On Soon it is to Late-Sorry But JESUS Really Loves You All With Eternal Love-Hallelujah What a Amazing Grace-Hallelujah Father and King JESUS
In 1970 I spent an afternoon with Larry when he lived near the Capitol Bld. My freind was auditioning for Larry, Paul Lermen, and I played guitar back up for Paul. What a day praying with Larry and talking about the Ministry...what a memeory
Wow, I must be living under a rock, cause I didn't even know that Larry Norman passed on. I saw him many years ago in Elgin, IL. and it was a great concert. Larry was very unique and personable. He stayed afterward and talked to his fans on the stage, and then a bunch of us went to get a bite to eat with him at a Denny's. He's the only performer that I went to see in concert that ever did that with his fans...
I was lucky enough to truly get to sit and share a meal with Larry Norman. He was truly a man of God he lived the life and now he is lucky enough to sit at the table with our Heavenly Father. He showed Gods love everywhere he went.
I came off the streets in 70 and there was nothing that kicked sept Larry and Wilson McKinnley, and Love Song,,so I love this,,, MARANATHA....come LORD JESUS COME..thanks for the post
Thanks. Adding to my favs. Larry help me thru many hard times with his music. I knew he was ill and wished more people would have helped fund his medical care by buying his CDs.
Cliff received so much criticism for that song from the church. Typically, of course, none of them actually bothered to listen to the lyrics:
Crystal ball on the table
Showing the future,the past
Same cat with them evil eyes
Youd better get out of there fast
He was actually WARNING of the consequences of getting drawn in to fortune telling and the occult, but they couldn't get it, just like they couldn't understand Larry.
We all wanted to get up there and sing this song with Larry! Your feelings Cliff were MY feelings at 15 years old...there was not exciting CHristian music....
I have always admired you CLIff, but had no idea we felt the same.....
THANKS LARRY for bringing fun and excitement, and PRAISE to your christian brothers and sisters...
This is a fantastic video. A great tribute to Larry Norman. Ciff and Larry's voices blend so perfectly. I found this version of the song on an MP3 download at Amazon and had to get it.
absolutely the best of all time,,I even think if he didn't would be a christian musician he would reach the whole world and his names would be taking part in all of the most popupars names in all the history as ELVIS PREYLEYS ANDD MANY MORE
What a cool video--I sometimes forget about how big Cliff Richard was--especially in England. I didn't know these 2 were friends. Larry is in fine voice. Cool all the way around.
wow, what a rare video, cliff And larry, God Bless them both for this on BBc TV thats Great, so Good to see them together thanks for posting , post more
It's also so good to see Larry perform with Cliff Richard on BBC TV (and get that 'level' of recognition) even though Larry perhaps always preferred to sing (and witness) to the homeless and outcasts in the streets.

Well it's never too late to inform oneself about somebody's discography... artist do live beyond the day they've left us on earth.
