@GeneralErlend This happens after the fight of Pain, so he had already seen his father. He traveled back in time, and he found 3 ninja's of Konoha, one of them was Minato. But Minato somehow figured over the time it was Naruto (His son). But since saying stuff in the past, will change stuff in the future (naruto's present) so he didn't allow him to say it. One of the things how he knew it was since the only one that learned Rasengan was Jiraiya, Naruto's teacher.
