In fact there is a way. In two player mode, on the character select, hold Z and input B, Up, L, B, A, Start, A, Up, R (Bulbasaur). You'll teleport to playing in this stage. Player 1 being Ash, Player 2 being Mewtwo.

Panel de Pon came first. Tetris Attack was a hack of it, and Pokemon Puzzle League was a hack off of the canceled Panel de Pon 64.

Those were the only cheap hacks of the series though. The Gameboy/DS versions were made from scratch.

the best is to bombard, not to make chain destroy your huge block first, always try to make a chain when the block start to be destroyed so then he will receive 1 more block and when your chain is disapearing, you'll not loose time, just 3 block... look at 0:37 he could easily make a purple chain and than destroy his block with the same move he did, but its still a nice vid ! =)

That's one of the major flaws in the game's AI, as far as I know, and it can get ridiculous. For instance, when the AI isn't screwing up, it takes me about 2 minutes on average to beat Mewtwo. However, I just happened to beat Mewtwo on my emulator in 18 seconds. That shouldn't happen against a human opponent.

Then you will go back to the match with Gary on level 15. plus i beat him once. well beat him and not beat him. by "not beat him" i mean i didn't do any good chain and combos to win. and by "beat him" i mean he defeated HIMSELF! when that happened i said WHAT THE FUCK? i didn't deserve the puzzle master trophy beacuse i didn't beat him. he beat himself.

Actually, Panel de Pon came out in 1995 on the SNES/Super Famicom, then was redesigned into Tetris Attack for the US and Europe. And since both Pokemon Puzzle League and Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon were developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo; it can't really be considered a rip-off. Pokemon Puzzle League was more of a redesigned improved version of Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack. And Nintendo Puzzle Collection was an improvement on that. Great game concept no matter how it looks.

There is no point in beating the game on Super Hard. Cause people can go faster. I Know I can. Mewtwo on super hard is like playing a person who is just learning to play to me now. On multiplayer, I have to play on level 10 but its now like level 5 to me now. I sometimes wish it could go higher.
