A suspicion is that they are releasing onto PC but Rocktar just wants to milk all the console gamers dry of their wallets before doing so. But this is just a suspicion. I'm a PC gamer unpatiently waiting for this suspicion to be fact. I fear that I'm craving this game SO much that if it does come out on PC, I'll be all excited out and won't care to buy it anymore. I would take about half an hour to cross the map. On a horse, at full speed, on a straight line, absolutely no chance for that : P You'' either way land in a canyon/ river/ mine/ maze of mountains/ grizzly bear stomach/ Gang Hideout (ooooh.. it's so much fun killing them!).. So in reality it about an hour. If You pay attention to the world and dont run to kill the horse ; )

@curryking1 I really hope so, but the games you listed were all made by rockstar north, red dead redemption was made by rockstar san diego who have only ever made 2 (or 3) pc ports and it is also a sequel to the console exclusive red dead revolver ...

but i REALLLY hope they port this over to pc ...

But also because turning a ps3/xbox game into a pc game is very hard and requires some time. You have to keep in mind that, unlike consoles, pc's are no 'standard' platforms and that games need to adapt to them.

I think that Rockstar is already working on a pc-version. They'd be crazy if they wouldn't, since this game is such a hit already. :\
