  • Ah well... he didn't really need that extra genji glove. And he missesd a few cutscenes between Cyan and his Kid... Ah well, everyone's experiences of the ruined world always differs anyways, and hey, he still got the important thing so, all good!

    Huzzah!

  • What...I had no idea that x-zone worked on bosses....you really are in god mode with level 3 elemental spells and x-zone.

  • Aww...he's going to use his dead family's souls as a weapon...

  • Mmmmm my ears.... thank you SJ

  • There is a quicker way to see who can equip an item rather than checking each party member one at a time. First, check your items outside of battle. If you press "A", or whatever button you use to use items on an item, you can manually sort it by moving it.

If you press that button again, you can use the item if it is a healing item. If it is equipment, the screen changes to an info screen that shows who can use it, if it Absorbs, Cuts by 50%, Blocks, or takes times two damage from elements.

  • I missed that cave first time through the game.

Also Shadow probably wants a raise for all the times you get him killed :P

  • I must say you're now my favorite let's player.

  • I don't know why, but I loled hard when you said " And he dies like a boss." It's a horrible pun, but you didn't even realize it.

  • Dude you missed all the extra scenes in Cyan's dream. You need to walk around different parts of the castle right before you fight wrexsoul.

  • This is one of my favorite areas in the game. Just something about the music in there is so relaxing. I love the little sword move that Cyan does on the 8th Sword Tech. Leo does the same move with his sword when using Shock against Kefka, which is why it's so awesome. I frequently "emulate" it in real life, but then it leaves you in a somewhat awkward position with something long in your hand, pointing at a 45-degree angle between straight up and behind you.

  • @NintendoCapriSun And unfortunately isn't very useful, as a guy who does a few spars with some friends who participate frequently in LARPs.

Yeah, no, It's awesome! But it's... not good.

  • Shadow seems to get the worst of it in this LP. He's constantly dying from monsters, reflected spells, confused party members...

  • X-Zone's pretty much an easy way to cheap out most boss fights, but it will just about always overwrite the script that tells it to drop loot, so if you want the drops an enemy gives you, you don't want to use it.

  • I have to say that aside from trying to find the Magitek Factory and Jidoor, you've been doing a pretty awesome job. This cave is one of the most annoying places in the game but you keep finding a way to breeze through.

  • By not actually "killing" wrexsoul and instead X-zoning his lackeys while they're offscreen, you missed out on his drop, which is a pod bracelet. It's not fantastic, but it's good filler relics when you're in 3-party situations.

  • What everyone else said about WrexSoul, and also about further exploring.

Also, I'm sure you've answered this before, but what other FF games have you played? I'd love to see you play more of the classics blind.

  • @Thanos6 there are plans for me to play more classics blind, but as to which ones, you'll have to wait and see!

  • I'm just going to say it was fun getting to discuss Inception with you the other day!

  • And if you want some place to go, go back to the island where you started the world of ruin (with Cid and Celes). There's something kinda cool there now.

  • You're gonna want to put Cyan in parties that won't mind his charge-up time. For Example: Cyan, Gau, Mog, and someone else. Mog (with dance) and Gau attack automatically while Cyan charges, so there's no wasted time. He's a cool guy... just kinda slow. Also, KEEP EXPLORING THAT CAVE! Some of the best items in the game are down there.

  • You were suppose to kill off one of your party members until he reappeared but that I always use X-zone anyway. 15:40 If you go left you can advance.

  • Note, you'll eventually find one of the 8 dragons. Don't go back to Figaro castle until you do.

  • Wow. I never thought to do that... I had to kill off my own party members to make Wrexsoul appear again, hurt him, he'd repossess a party member and it was rinse and repeat. But I like your method better! :)

  • Well I certainly wasn't expecting you to win that way. What Wrexsoul did was possess one of your party members and you have to kill and revive each of them until you find the one it has possessed. Your way was much easier though so good job.

  • Wow i can't believe you figured out that Wrexsoul thing so fast XD.

  • vanish, the battle ends in your favor. Not using x-zone makes the fight hell. Using x-zone makes it soooooooo easy.

  • It was easy because using X-Zone in this fight glitches it, sort of. Wrexsoul possessed one of your people at random. Normally, to get him to reappear and then hurt him you'd have to methodically kill and revive your own people, as he only reappears when the 'possessed' character gets killed.

The soul savers can't be killed normally, but x-zone overwrites that aspect of the programming, as they aren't really 'killed', they're removed from battle, and as Wrexsoul isn't on the field when they
