The LHC at CERN only recently managed to create & isolate anti-hydrogen atoms, and kept them contained for a few seconds - which is much longer than any previous attempt. The problem with antimatter is that it must be kept suspended in a perfect vacuum, using very strong magnetic fields. As soon as it makes contact with any form of matter, it instantly annihilates. It's too unstable, and difficult to produce.
