  • Hey, I'm a beginner DJ... And I was wondering if you can help me... I've seen the video you made about speakers and a few other... I've just bought a numark universal mixdeck but I can't decide what speakers to get... I've been looking at the Gemini RS-415 are they any good because I've been told that they are and also that they aren't good...

  • @eddy1512 yes i have always been impressed with the Gemini speakers they are quite heavy... you are looking at the 15 inches if your thinking about transportation might be worth you looking at the 12 inch version not as much boom but more mid for vocals worth a listen..........

  • pioneer or radius 3000

  • Hello. I would like to Request if you could Possibly do a Review for The Numark DDS. Thank you Very Much.

  • willy...hehe

  • Really thinking about the radius 3000. Seems like they are a good all around player! I just want to be able to do a bit of everything as I am new to all of this, but love music and love the idea to mix, scratch, and bend music to my will for the joy of myself and others. What I havent seen is alot of info on american audio or reviews on their stuff. If there is anyone with the knowledge please let me know what would be the ups and downs of a radius 3000 system and if there are better alternatives

  • @ryanburick we're a year on, what did you do ?

  • @Synthasism what are you sayin' my man?!

  • @ryanburick What player did you go with ? how did it work out for you ?

  • @Synthasism kinda sad, but nothing. I didnt buy anything because I couldnt make up my mind and it seems like I am behind the power curve on this stuff ( i am 24 now ). Just soo much music and gear that I dont have, you know? Who knows maybe one day...

  • Great vid, some good tips, and yeah its always a battle between what we mobile dj's want and what we really need! the whole point of mobile dj is to be mobile and try not to carry around tons and tons of gear.

  • Great vid, and thanks for the tips! I'll check out your other vids as well.

  • Thanks for Sharing

  • Nice vid jase...hope to see u at bpm.

  • Jason, awesome video....very well done. A lot of great information and advice for starting-up mobile dj's!!!

  • Don't forget me, Jason - I'm still here to offer advice (still do get lots of emails from people) and I'll be at BPM on the DJ Tutor stand.

I don't think many of us will be buying those CDJ-2000's though. £3000 a pair!

  • sorry groovin your always on my mind will put a call out next time for you!!! your my hero as your the only one who actually knows what your doing

  • Nice info Jason get new dj's thinking that theres many options when it comes to mixing it up!!

Also Max what the hell man lol!!!!!!!

  • Great video. Good advise.

  • What's My name doing in this video, second time it's happened now.

    What are you chatting about

'always comment, it won't help you with anything'

Comments aren't supposed to help me as I know what I'm writing.

Anyway on a more 'On Topic' Point of view

    *********

I thought the Citronic one was the best out of all of them (CD all in ones)

Standard Legal CDs are recorded in 1411kbps WAV Format; You only need it in MP3 if you have burnt your own, or using solid state memory.

  • The Denon DNS1200 Players are decent machines, but the screen is a bit basic, and some DJs don't like the soft buttons.

Pioneer CDJ 400s are nice, but well overpriced, Great players though, I have used Johnathan's.

    Ha @ CDJ 1000.

    Denon CD Players look good.

Of Course DJs buy a higher specification than the need. Our washing machine has several modes, and our Sky box has hundreds of channels - we don't watch them all.

You never know when you might want a certain thing - eg flange

  • Nice car - Haha!

I have another 35 years of saving before I can afford one of those.

From a money making point of view, stick to Numark in other words.

CD Players will always be around, especially rack mount ones, otherwise what will concerts use to play singers backing CDs that they happen to bring?

4:42 - Alan used to own one!

    Very Informative video there.

5 - Stars (or maybe half a star)

    Nice Video Overall

  • your crazy in a nice way max.......what will singers use as backing tracks.....already they use files on computer not cds.... its old hat and almost finished! will be put in the same bin as betamax.....look it up

  • great vid jason........lmao@max

  • all way happy to help ......lmao at max... :)

  • thanks for the plug jason.. I am always willing to help...... i am still laughing at the max comment....hahaha

  • CDJ + Concrete coating = Simon-Proofed!

  • I got cd mix 1 as my first conse ad now hoping to upgarde. Great Video

  • I still have one LR as my back up its fine never let me down fingers crossed
