@bowlofarthritus In the very first Street Fighter, Sagat beat the living shit out of Ryu, and as Sagat was about to give him a hand, Ryu (wanting to win so bad) snapped and trashed the fuck out of Sagat with a Metsu Shoryuken. Horrified of what he had done, Ryu felt bad for his murderous thoughts, Ryu decided to set on a quest for self-improvement, so something like that never happens again, as it isn't a "fair" way to go in a fight.
