what do you think about texturizers? I have been transitioning for like 4 months now but I still think about bone straight hair. Texturizer may be middle ground from what I'm hearing, but I haven't tried it.
OMG this is me but right now, i'm transitioning. my mom supports me but my dad is totally against me going natural, but i am soooo excited! and its so weird one of my black friends thinks it looks ugly and i didnt realize how part of the black community is so against it. but i'm not backing down cause i'm transitioning for the same reasons u mentioned and as i do more research i am more sure of my decision
Hey. i have a question..im gonna be in a wedding end of aug. i will be 9 months without relaxer....how do i slick my hair back liek that? should i straighten it out? just blow it out? just air dry it? then try to comb it together? my hair is transitioning
You are going to look beautiful natural!! I am transitioning too, but not from a relaxer...from heat. I though I was doing good by not doing a relaxer and the heat has taken away my natural curl pattern :-( I can't wait to see more of my hair to return to it's natural state...Will look foward to your BC!!
ur dad sounds great. My dad is totally against my natural hair. He's used to the relaxers and it makes me sick. My mom supports me though. she said it was my decision and if it made me happy thats all that matters. Ive been natural for about a year and still don't know exactly what to do to manage my hair. Im still learning but I think its cool.
Hey, i did the big chop and i feel so relief!! its the best thing in the world. My natural hair is so soft and i can detangle in a minute. GOOD LUCK!!
That's a good way to see what you'd look like with short hair, but, people love versatility, length, and flowiness....you're hair is the only thing that can blow in the breeze...how romantic.
Why can't people go natural WITHOUT cutting off all their hair first? -- it won't grow faster..
The two textures will fight against each other and be very hard to manage and cause lots more breakage and damage it is best to get rid of the processed hair and start fresh and new!!! Be Blessed!
The reason you cut off the processed hair is because the two textures ( natural & relaxed) will fight against each other and be hard to manage and cause more damage and stress to your new growth so it best health wise to start fresh and new with just the natural texture!!! Be Blessed!!!

Girl you could def rock a TWA! You have your hair pulled away from your face so it gives the illusion of having short hair. You should consider it cause you would really look beautiful!! Please let me know what you end up doing. Yes our hair is very very versatile and you will always have people that don't agree, understand or support you. You have to do YOU!! @FromUTube2BigScreen Eh, texturizers are just weaker relaxers. i'm not interested in them but you must do what works best for your hair.
