  • Nice job! I have seen all the vids for this and will try one myself. I like how clear they are. Thanks for taking the time to put the vids together.

  • a long video and nothing special...you have just made its fingers. The best could be if you add a few servos for the arm which could take the matchbox and put it to another place! now you do it yourself with your own arms....Good luck in the project!

  • @rn6hi i already made all that, check out the finished robot arm video!

  • How can you make the servos work? :((( By pushing it? Because when I bought the micro servo, there is no somewhat "Power supply" because it has a long cable which i think it should be connected to SOMETHING. WHAT IS IT?!?! Please answer.

  • @decidela12 there is 2 wires for power, usually 6 volt, and then theres 1 wire for signal, the signal changes the servos position.

  • @kattejuice Where can i get those volts? what are they called? :)

  • @kattejuice where can you send signal from?

  • lol you have just one hand 1:44

  • @ipadize yeah, my other hand is holding the camera ;)

  • can you use anything else besides a micro server

  • how did you program the robot

    ?

  • another break pad for BMX hahaha:)

  • Dude you are funny "imagine this in a factory" "now imagine another match box"

  • that was awsome! Where can i get the program editing software?

  • @tancmarko8 comes with the picaxe starter pack, i think its free from their website, cant remember ;)

    good luck! :D

  • sorry im newbie at robotics.... how did you programed the servo?

  • @Gamer123456ful with picaxe 28x1 program editing software

  • uoy could mount it to a stick and make a atomatic picer uper

  • Hi! I love your video! Can i ask you the link where you buy the servos?

    thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i like the simplicity and creativity in this

    keep it up

  • 1001 things to do with a servo :))

  • could u use 2mm polycarb??

  • Kind of got lost in your imagination at the end, didn't you?

  • what tools + bits did u use :

    to cut the pexiglass?

to bend the pexiglass/ how u bent it?

Thanks ur awsome i looove your robots.

  • imagine another match-box lol

  • I love all of your vids, but I don't know why they don't have a lot of views...anyway great work!how old are you?

  • Great job! I love your vids! Can i ask where you get your plexi glass /plastic? I'm thinking about making some robots too!

  • i get it at my local hardware store, Jem & Fix, but its not rare so you can get it at any hardware store

  • i liked your thinking boy...keep up the good work and may you be a great engineer...Think about attending mechatronics when at university level...Nice

  • thanks! thats my aim! :)

  • Can you make a hand that strokes your cat? =3

  • nice

  • nice work !!!

could you tell how you made those 4 hinge joints ?

  • i drilled 2 holes the same lenght from each other on all the pieces, after that i cut some small iron nails so they were 2mm loonger than the two pieces' thickness and then glue them to the piece from the other side(might all sound confuseing but im going to make a how to video some day )

  • @kattejuice

ah I see. many thanks for replying :)

  • @kattejuice

that must be the most brilliant idea i have ever heard. just glue, im so going to use this.

    //subscribed.

  • are the servos SG90 9G mini micro servos?

  • that would match up, yes!

but they arent really that name, my ones are cheap chinese ones from ebay :)

  • i like this but it goes in pulses and thats something you should work on and see if you can build a robot from scratch and try the best you can but if you have anger problems don't i used to have anger problems or more impatience then anger and wrecked a 2000$ project okay so try to step away from the kits and try your own designs and stuff now your most likely older than i am i'm only 15 but have been building tinkertoys and robots since 6 my father is an automation enginner so yeah... thanks

  • well i never buy kits unless it have something i need :)

all my robots are made from scratch by me.

i now it goes in pulses but thats easy to change ;)

im only fifteen too.. so... yeah.. :)

  • hey kattejuice

can you pls send me a link to a web site were i can buy a remote control and a receiver??

  • hej kattejuice

kender du et sted hvor man kan købe en remote controler og en riceiver ??

  • please rite in english!

otherwise others cant get any use of the same question they might look for too.. =D

  • Attach some conductive foam, wire it up to your Mining tool, and it should be able to detech voltage variation when you put pressure on it.

  • For a more balanced and simple gripper. Try gluing an axle with gear on the top surface where the sticker is right beside the drive train. and add another gear on the drive axle. After that, both gears should be moving once you turned it on. Then, attach so plastic pads and everthing on top of the gears.

This is a really simple design, by me.

  • i tryed that design, at first, on a bigger servo! but i didn't like it! so i made this because i like when two "fingers" move beside of each other instead of haveing a tilt-point(or two like the one you said!)

    elsewise it's a good idea!

  • cool! how do you control the servo, with a remote control?

  • no i have a hidden PICAXE 28x1 controller =3
