a long video and nothing special...you have just made its fingers. The best could be if you add a few servos for the arm which could take the matchbox and put it to another place! now you do it yourself with your own arms....Good luck in the project!
How can you make the servos work? :((( By pushing it? Because when I bought the micro servo, there is no somewhat "Power supply" because it has a long cable which i think it should be connected to SOMETHING. WHAT IS IT?!?! Please answer.
hi i have a question, how do you make that servo works. or how it works?did you control the micro robot gripper by yourself or it can be just automatically move itself. I just don't understand how the servo does the work. Do i need to make any programming?
i liked your thinking boy...keep up the good work and may you be a great engineer...Think about attending mechatronics when at university level...Nice
i drilled 2 holes the same lenght from each other on all the pieces, after that i cut some small iron nails so they were 2mm loonger than the two pieces' thickness and then glue them to the piece from the other side(might all sound confuseing but im going to make a how to video some day )
i like this but it goes in pulses and thats something you should work on and see if you can build a robot from scratch and try the best you can but if you have anger problems don't i used to have anger problems or more impatience then anger and wrecked a 2000$ project okay so try to step away from the kits and try your own designs and stuff now your most likely older than i am i'm only 15 but have been building tinkertoys and robots since 6 my father is an automation enginner so yeah... thanks
For a more balanced and simple gripper. Try gluing an axle with gear on the top surface where the sticker is right beside the drive train. and add another gear on the drive axle. After that, both gears should be moving once you turned it on. Then, attach so plastic pads and everthing on top of the gears.
i tryed that design, at first, on a bigger servo! but i didn't like it! so i made this because i like when two "fingers" move beside of each other instead of haveing a tilt-point(or two like the one you said!)
Nice job! I have seen all the vids for this and will try one myself. I like how clear they are. Thanks for taking the time to put the vids together.

decidela12 4 months ago
@decidela12 there is 2 wires for power, usually 6 volt, and then theres 1 wire for signal, the signal changes the servos position.
kattejuice 4 months ago
@kattejuice Where can i get those volts? what are they called? :)
decidela12 4 months ago
@kattejuice where can you send signal from?

Attach some conductive foam, wire it up to your Mining tool, and it should be able to detech voltage variation when you put pressure on it.
