If i didnt already know the song i wouldn't know what she was singing. Purposefully slurring her words?... Is it meant to sound good or has she suffered a stroke? I'll never understand the obsession with Florence. Beautiful arrangement and cover by the Machine though, their take on this song is refreshing. Just wish they had a singer that was easier on the ears.

This is a brilliant cover, but the original brought me down to tears hearing it. I mean, when you pay close attention to the lyrics, it scares you, my interpretation of it is that, two Vietnam soldiers befriend each other while dying. Cold War Kids are the just unbelievable. Oh, and there's two things we can at least agree on,

1. Florence (Florence + The Machine is a band) can SING.

2. She has a great taste in music.
