@thephantomfx dark elves are good with almost everything i dont like the axe and mace but i use swords and magic so i use dark elf because they are made mostly for those two things and if you are into just magic you should pick high elf or breton if your into axe and mace use the orc if your planing on having and equal score on all of those pick a redgaurd

@henjn6 if you play a mage id personaly use a breton but high elves are also good but come with some problems such as weaknesses or warrior nord orc or redguard, archer or theif, woodelf or maybe even khajiit, or if you are an all round type of player like me choose a dark elf theyre equal with the skills although i mainly play with blade marskman and im a nord :P

hmm...then I'd go for a breton..they might not look like much but they're pretty good mages considering their hp vs mp ratio...as for blade, I think they get an innate +5 to blade. so that's pretty well balanced if you go for The Lady as your sign (+15 endure/will) and go with a warrior type for your class. You'll be rounded enough to do damage and still have magicka for healing/shield (alteration)... hope I was able to help ^^

Breton is my first preference, they're natural magika resistance is really useful as is their magika bonus. Dark Elves are good all rounders though.

That said it's completely dependent on what you like to do.
