She definitely is very talented. She needs a coach who can teach her proper forehand/backhand mechanics though (a forehand loop maybe?), not someone to just beat balls with.

For a 5 year old, she is pretty good, but wouldn't call her prodigy... She is hitting the ball almost as a lob, wrist too open for good control. She is barely able to control the racket right now... Wait till she is older and can hit a real topspin groundstroke to see if she is a prodigy...

this is pretty good but nothing special considering the balls are fed by a ball machine. I have seen kids of the same age hitting much better. My question is who and why gave her this huge racket? She is even stumbling trying to move it around... Apart of not been able to hit a ball correctly ( this is why she is moon balling all of them) you are risking killing her wrist before she is six

foot work is great. Her little nike's are so dam cute.. I have 2 daughters older now, tried to get them to play but they just gigled at my frustration lol show her a fluid serve rotation after she learns the basics of getting the ball in consistantly because most female players have mechanicle serves with not much action on their serves. Kids are so good at mimicing shots so try and show her a serve thats fluid in motion .

As a African American teaching pro in Europe, I have seen many people having their kids out there like this. This young lady seems to be enjoying herself, and that is the main point! Give her time to also enjoy the small things in life as that is what will keep her grounded. @xscilla10 footwork is useless at 5 years old. the strokes matter alot more. for example, its more important that you know how to ride the bike not ride it fast. This little girl can barely swing that racquet and is open on every single forehand she hits. The racquet needs to be turned over completely...the swing and follow through are very inconsistent which could lead to erratic strokes. get her in a little closer and feed her lower balls so she swings correctly each time!
