hey iwakura I just got mines yesterday and most of the games I download work...some when booted up says error cannot load data or something like that....is there a specific place where I put the nds data for the game...each rom is in a folder...and the sav appears in the same folder along with the rom...the games that geive me that data error also showed a save after being booted up but I am still getting that error...what's going on??

Also their forums are very strict and they treat their customers like shit. If you so much as mention one thing about wanting and update, or mention something other compaines have done, or even hint at roms you are banned from the site. They have a very high rate of carts that come DOA. The memory is not upgradeable like microSD solutions. Extremely overpriced etc
All the stuff i mentioned are just the tip of the iceburg. If you do some research you will find at least a dozen better solutions. Google it and see. Also check out gbatemp.net they have great reviews of all the carts on the market.
slot-1 solution is much, much better. All the slot-2 solution does is allow you to play GBA games, but that comes at the cost of TONS of functions that the slot-1 has. if you want to play GBA games, I would advise the EzFlash3in1 expansion, a m3 perfect, or g6lite. CycloDS may have good slot-1's, but their slot-2s suck.
yes, the dS-X can do both, but you should read my text review. flashcartreviews DOT com has more information, the DS-X really isnt that good. The cycloDS is 50-55 dollars, might be a few extra bucks with shipping.

I mean good or bad.
Unfortunately, no. No megadrive, Genesis, 65, or PSX. The best is CycloDS evolution, I wouldn't get the DS-X if I were you. Horrible tech support, only 2 updates in an entire year, etc etc.

if you mean the firmware, its in a different part of memory on the DS-X. If you format the DS-X, you can just drag and drop games onto the clean flash drive, and it'll work just fine. It'll make a few files though, to save your settings (such as which LED lights are on, which skin to use, etc.)
LOL -- Wow, man, you've definitely got yourself quite a collection of flash cards. I like the interface for this one; it looks very user-friendly, and it's nice to be able to go back out to the main menu from the media options. The LED thing, though, seems like a pretty useless feature, unless you're one of those folks who are into "tricking out" your DS. Anyway, nice review, as always.
DS-X is smooth, but it sucks. At least their support does. 2 firmware released a year! and they still havent updated their cards to run zelda or hoshigami, even though the cycloDS didnt even need a patch, and the R4 patch was released within an hour.
Well, that's certainly disappointing to hear, considering how expensive the DS-X is in comparison to most other cards out there. Last time I priced it, it was still over $100.

definitely. It drinks the battery life.
At full power, I get around 3 hours of gametime. You can lower the individual LED light power though.
