  • I've had this since it was released and in my opinion it is his masterpiece.

  • Used the closing track as the recessional, at my wedding. Using this track to get through the hellforsaken spreadsheets that mark the end of that marriage [and the violence that, for me, made its outcome uncertain]. This track, and a lavender gingham shirt, jeans, and tall boots: the right kind of luck.

  • Nice! What a shot from the past! I'm david Harris- the trombonist. Would love to get a DVD if possible. Never got to see this footage!

  • Thankyou so much for posting these unique videos. I never thought I would see this again after losing exactly the same recording on video tape many years ago. Fantastic!

  • rite clothes for luck for an a certain occasion. ive always thought the same

  • I saw him do this at Carnegie Hall in February...thanks for posting these earlier clips! Is this available on DVD?

  • I'm afraid not - hence a VHS tape nearly nineteen years old. The footage for this is a co-production of the Institute of Contempary Arts and the BBC, and comments on the Durutti Column set from the same show have said that even the artists may not have copies.

  • Wow...pretty amazing to think of the rarity of this!!
