I'll be the first to admit that perhaps socialized medicine isn't the best answer out there. I know it has its flaws. BUT it is certainly better than what we have now in america where only the wealthy are healthy (no pun intended). We need to give insurance companies the boot. Better we have a shitty healthcare system vs a shitty healthcare system where teh super rich profiet.

And you don't replace bad with bad or potentially worse. Especially since even if wide-spread healthcare reform is voted on today.

I just had surgery and I have a great healthcare plan through my job as a driver with Pepsi. aside from paying 45 dollars in copays I now have a bill for 3100 dollars in addition to the seperate bill for the anistesiaologist. Yea YOU are mistaken buddy, not me! What the fuck am I paying insurance premiums for? The Public option is not WORSE its not the BEST but its BETTER than what we have now which is a shitty system where rich assholes on wallstreet profit from deaths. hear about it always

I'm curious if you've actually even taken a look at HR 3200. If you had, I'm sure you'd actually be quite scared to give up your current health insurance.

And I still didn't really get a specific example. You work, you have insurance, you had surgery, you have to pay money. Uh, that's usually what happens when a service is

rendered and your insurance defrayed the cost.

Sorry, I still stand by my statements made earlier. You absolutely do not go from bad to bad and hope things work out.

Cuban medical attention is on par with other Latin American third world nations. In other words, its very poor with very bad equipment as you can see in this video. Americans at least have the opportunity to travel abroad if they want medical attention from a different system. If Cubans try to leave their country they are slaughtered.. including the women and children. How can you possibly defend that?

I wonder how the world can turn a blind eye on the Cuban people. The doctor who filmed this videos is now in jail in Cuba. He sacrificed his freedom and risked his life with the hope that something will be done by the rest of the world to rescue the Cuban people. He is probably thinking that now that the world finally sees the truth, there is no way that we will allow this to continue, that something will be done. But the world is blind to crimes from the left. God bless Cuba.
