@Miguel93535 thanks for the response and heard after making this video that they were notorious for doing that when the slide mechanism got a little loose.
@ongjared its starting to get worn out... they wont do anyyhing on it at sprint until it stops working completely and thats if you have TEP insurance.
@ongjared not without getting it replaced..... you could try blow it out with compressed air or sometihng but if still does it when nothing caught in there it would be impossible to silence.... with age comes noise... it would be like asking someone to type quietly on one of those 1991 keyboards that sound like a jet plane is taking off.
@ongjared are oyu hard on your keyboard like press the keys with some aggression? either way they wont replace or repair at the sprint repair centers unless the keys are sticking from wear or the keyboard stops working completely. i killed only 1 keyboard from use and i average around 6000-10000 texts a month usuall. (work 2nd shift and cant talk on the phone so text it all out haha)
@KoolCordell man you writing a novel over there? hahaha just rgiving you a hard time... after a little use the keys on the epic do loosen up some and take the same pressure as those on the tp2 to fully supresss.
@iamdasht19 LOL no but the tp2 was not really designed to be a consumer device it was geared towards corporate users. Apparently they type up reports while waiting in traffic or something. But I am stuck between the evo and the epic on one hand i miss my hard qwerty but i think that is only because my hero has that redicilious lag when you type. it is like orig iphone status; so annoying, i liked the vurital on the TP2 way better than the one on my hero.
@KoolCordell right ill agree with you there but the larger screen on the epic and the better processor makes typing a breeze without lag... you can than go swype as well if you choose or the droid x multi touch keyoboard as well..... the evo opens all new doors and honeslty it is easy to type on the evo.
I usually like your videos. Just 2 comments. The TP2 keyboard was designed to be like a real standard keyboard. Staggered. If you look no real keyboard is square. And the on keyboard shortcut on the right arrow (TP2) is for comm manager, turns on and radios, not for volume. TP2 has volume control on the side. I'd agree with jamerican and say I feel the keyboard on the EPIC feels a bit cheap. I;m hoping with andriod, that there is an option to remap keyboard keys to do specific things you want.
I tried out the Samsung Epic 4G and it feels cheaply made. The keyboard feels worse than the Touch Pro 2. I like the larger Enter Key on the Touch Pro 2 because you can't confuse it with the Delete key. The only thing I really like about the Epic keyboard is the shortcut keys on the sides. The keys I guess to each his/her own.
@iamdasht19 ha, I see. and as weird as it may sound I think they're cool Lol. They look fun to play with =p * once again sorry if I'm coming off weird lol *
@gaintshark the smiley key brings up your choice of emotions.... i agree that it could have been used better but the .com key is still there right next to it.
@Dash....I also have a TP2 before going to the Epic for me I prefer the TP2 keyboard cause it represents a true universal standard keyboard layout not a grid pattern like the Epic..etc.
@Quis...I would of been awesome if the screen tilted like the TP2/TILT..etc.
on the epic 4g does the slider part scratch the keys on 5,6,t,y,g,h,v,b,and space bar couse they scratch when i slide it open

TP2 is more comfortable if you are going to be typing on it for an hour due to softer impacts. I hope that made sense.
