  • This puppy is so cute and SO smart! You did a beautiful job at training her to know all this at such a young age. I'm getting a male golden retriever puppy in 2 to 3 weeks. He will be about 4 months. His name will be Magic and I am also buying a clicker to help with training

  • This is very sweet :)))

  • Hello, is this an Aerican or British Golden retriever?

    Thank you

  • OMG I ALWAYS WANTED TO CALL MY DOG COCO

  • how much is for a new born golden retriever

  • are you living in a private apartment or hdb cause it's illegal to have medium to large size dogs in hdb's....i wanna get myself a rottweiler but hdb rules prevents it..

  • god that clicker is annoying

  • hi five hahaha awsome

  • how much is a golden retriever in singapore? O.o

  • STAY!!!

  • Love the high five :D

My baby is 1 month old. Girl Pixie. Check my video

  • where did you buy her/him?

  • My lil girl is 4 months and she's good with sitting and laying down and shaking a paw but it's the stay part that she doesn't get haha oh well she's cute we'll work on it

  • awesome! ;)

  • Thats scary that my Golden I just got at 10 weeks is the same size as coco!

  • coco good gilr!!!!!

  • CoCo is a very smart dog. Look at that smile. Did you teach her to swim? I'd love to see more of her.

  • People tell me my 4 month old is so talented because he can sit, lie down, and spin on command. But oh my god, Coco can crush him like a bug!

  • And everyone says MY dog is well behaved for four months! But you definitely take the cake. Makes me feel a little embarrassed for being so proud. Also makes me jealous and competitive. Lol.

  • What a well behaved puppy! Nice work with her!

  • i also have a golden retreiver they are very cute and luving!!

  • Personaly I don't think a dog can be "smart". Only more or less willing to learn, but still... all dogs on this planet could do the same things: it only depends on the owner and how much patience and how good "explainers" we are and how fun we are to train with.

My friend have a cavalier, another a nova scotia duck and another a rhodesian ridgeback and they all can do pretty much the same as my golden - and that's a lot! But if you're talking personalitys, they are very different, all of them.

  • how did you trin her all that in a mont could you please tell me how and help me

  • shes smart

  • @robbysucipto were you using a clicker?

  • That's really awesome! My Golden's name is Nina, and she's now 4 months old, I've gotten her to sit, lay, stay (in which she freezes), look up, down and eat. Is there anything you think you can help me with her trainning? I've probably read all I can find in the internet...hehe Thanks

  • very cute dog

  • how do u train ur dogs?

  • SO CUTE AND SMART!!! :3

& btw, I knew it!!! I knew you're S'porean! Can tell by the accent! :D

but hesss soo cute =) love him anyway

  • she's a smart puppy!

    (i'm using my brother's account)

  • she IS SO SMART I WANT ONE !!!

  • I got my 8 weeks old golden retriever yesterday and he allready listens to hes name witch is Galaghar (i pronounce it "Gallager" cause its easier to say though)This is my first dog and I hope i will be able to train him to be just as good as yours :) He is a great dog! he fits in so naturally into our family!

  • NICE! I have a golden retriever puppy that's 4 months old. Her name is Amber and she knows: sit, stay, paw, high five, roll over, spin, stand, down, and the "guess which hand" game. She looks a bit skinnier than your puppy..is that normal? I don't want her to be underweight, although the vets didn't say anything about her weight.

  • The puppy in the video is overweight, my pup is 4 months and is not nearly as fat, The vet told me my pup's weight was normal. so i bet ur fine too.

  • She's now 7 months old... perhaps I should update video soon.. hehz, but Golden can do almost anything with proper training at this age! she can even press lift button for me, fetch her leash before we go out for a walk.. just really impressed with goldens.

  • @robbysucipto aren't golden retrievers one of the smartest breeds of dogs?

  • @VE3Nz negative.... golden retrievers are smart dogs, i have had 1.... but border collies, german shepherds along with dobermans are the smartest breeds. they will never get the credit, bash all you want but pitbulls are a very very smart dog, just have to be trained right and there are great smart dogs!

  • @mattstark23 No I'm not bashing any of the other breeds you mentioned but I'm just simply stating that they are one of the smart kinds of dogs.

  • @VE3Nz i know lol, they are smart, i said that lol its like a ''b'' student agaist a strait ''A'' student is want i ment kinda lol i have had a golden and she was smart bud not as smart as my german shepherd or rott was lol

  • @mattstark23 Yeah that's what i meant to lol.

  • Hey Amber.. Thanks for your input.

CoCo is my very first dog experience and she still is. I have subsequently learnt alot more about training. Yes, your comments are indeed very right and insightful ^_^.. the point about making the dog excited is very important.

Now CoCo doesn't take anymore kibbles as treats since her interest in kibbles is no longer strong.

  • Good job but you don't need to repeat the "sit" command twice. She is going to sit but just taking 2 seconds long to do it. You don't want her to learn that when you say "sit" 2 times, then only she'll do it. You need to make a little more excited too. Perhaps you could use a toy. It does not always have to be a treat & if you are using kibbles, stop using it because it's boring. Your dog is eating for breakfast, lunch & dinner & you use that as treats as well. Give her something else...

  • i can feel you geedunk!! heheh. golden will be a big big joy!

    i'm glad for you.

  • I am gettting one in a month, I cant wait

  • SO cute! saw you on GRF =). she's a smart one! Gotta love them!

  • Im getting a four month old GR...in like 2 weeks from now.

  • Wahhh ko!!! She's like sooooo COOL!!!! xD

  • thank you guys.. jagx09, it would be a lot of sweat in between the joy in taking care of puppy. but the end results for goldens is sure rewarding! do remember to post some videos when ur pup is in. how old is the pup that u're getting?

  • Aww cute =) Very nice tricks =) Im getting a golden retriever puppy soon and it looks like its going to be fun when i get it =)

  • I love these dogs so cute
