  • Not trying to keep and push the the Hollywood Blondes was a colossal blunder on WCW's part.

  • Stunning Steve > Stone Cold Steve Austin

  • Your brush with greatness is over!

    RIP Pillman

  • i always thought they gave this theme to jobbers as sort of a jab at austin

  • STONE COLD will probabaly be EMBARASSED BY THIS.

  • @BijjalyGas Im sure stone cold would say this is when he started breaking out and getting over before he came to the wwf to superstardom. Hollywood Blondes were the shit. His gold chain he always has on.. well he got it when he was a hollywood blonde

  • @theballistichawk7 EXACTLY....I agree totally....

  • hollywood blondes were great tag team there feud with bagwell and scorpio was good booking in my opinion. if wcw would have had hollywood blondes beat roma and anderson had them for 2-3 years they could half made a great impact on pro wrestling. i think wwe writers in 2005 mnm was 2005-2007 hollywood blondes.

  • best theme ever?

  • 1 year as a tag team...what a shame.

  • Wow, dude, you made the Blondes fit this theme and seem more badass than WCW ever did. Good job!

  • Brush with Greatness!

  • MOST BAD ASS THEME SONG EVER...

  • Austin dabbing the sweat off Pillman's forehead is so cute. <3

  • some1 should use this in wwe/tna/roh now...it would TOTALLY OWN ALL...imho,anyway...

  • lmao i remember austin as a hollywood blonde.

  • I wish they couldve reunite in the wwe when Brian was still alive.

  • I use to love the hollywood blondes. So mad when they broke up.

  • blitzkrieg owned with this theme

  • you know jake robers used this as his 1st wcw theme

  • @animeoster04

yeah, they recycled alot of their themes. I remember watching an episode of WCW Worldwide and some jobber came out to Goldbergs theme music.

  • 3 people need to have a brush with greatness.

  • What is the name of the song?

  • man that taunt still makes me laugh. Pillman and Austin are/were great.

  • what exactly was their taunt supposed to be?

  • @MSversion13 they were from Hollywood and they were gonna be hollywood stars. Back in the early days of film the cameras had to be handcranked....so it was like they were filming the audience or the other camera with a handcrank camera.

  • @MSversion13 It's a rolling video camera.

  • Hollywood Blondes and Demolition are my 2 fave tag teams of all time. this was the team of the 90's as some have said on here. they were attitude era before the attitude era happened.

  • My opinion- Most entertaining tag-team until the New Age Outlaws came along. I couldn't say which team was my favorite, they were different, but both funny and fun to watch.

  • blitzkrieg

  • best tag team of the 90's without a doubt, the reason i tuned in to wcw worldwide on itv late at night was to see these 2, class act.

  • Love the camera hand crank thingy!

  • Now WWE owns this theme it would be awesome if Austin came to the ring with it one more time.

  • I loved this theme, used to play it on my guitar, think I'll play it right now!!

  • I loved this theme, used to play it on my guitar, think I'll play it right now!!

  • Greatest Tag team ever! R.I.P Pillman.

  • I love this theme.

  • Steve Austin is the perfect example of EVOLUTION. From "Stunning Steve" to "Stone Cold".

  • 0:58 hahaha the hand motions and schiavone say they're talkin about sumthin else "this big..... in here"

  • 3 pieces of trash need a stone cold stunner

  • For jobber theme song sound pretty bad ass

  • I will always remember Austin as "Stunning Steve Austin" they shud hav let him run with that in wwf! Look how cool the guy is in this video. And this is one of the best enterence musics of ALL time!

  • @sexysekhon Problem was WCW owned that theme when he went to the wwf. Just like BG james could not use Road dogg hesse james when he went to TNA. Or the dudleys.

  • Best wcw theme ever, I first heard it when greg valentine came out to it against randy savage. I remember actually wanting valentine to win even though that was impossible because of the popularity of the macho man just so i could listen to that music again lol

  • when considering the greatest tag teams do people go by gimmick and how great they looked or do they go by longevity, titles won, who they beat and how much they lost?

  • The Blondes were a contributing archetype for much of the "attitude era" in the late 90s early millennium.

Before the stunner was the stun gun, I used to flip every time he hit that finisher. Pillman and Austin . . . Legendary! WCW!

  • These guys had jobber music!

  • @yungmoneyD this theme song was alused by MArty Jannetty in 1998

  • @axman15 I definitely remember that, & I was like, that's how they feel about Marty? & the last person 2 use tihs was Blitzkrieg!

  • I barley recognize Austin.

  • I'm pretty sure this theme was used on an ECW game for the playstation

  • If Demolition went to WCW, this theme would fit em. Anyone agree?

  • @17NJDevilsfan

Smash did wrestle in WCW as Barry Darsow, and I think Ax was there once as a fake Sting.

  • @Incredible1984 Ax never wrestled as the fake Sting. I know Smash wrestled in WCW under that name. I was just saying that if they were still partners in WCW, this theme is perfect for them

  • If only Hollywood Blondes was allowed by WCW management to run its course..

  • @dmichael1986 Agreed..before HBK/HHH..these two were the DX of WCW..and if they hadve let them takeover things..alot wouldve been changed

  • 2 guys WCW never pushed, WWE went on to make Stone Cold into a hall of famer and Pillman didnt do to bad for himself either.

  • dang! i forgot wich one is steve austin!

  • that old camera taunt ....EPIC!

  • the greatest wrestling theme of all time.

  • geeze, how old is that pantomime camera that they're using?

  • I used to love watching WCW Saturday Night and they would come out. Loved this theme. This proves that you can teach someone how to do moves nowadays, but pure charisma is a talent you can't teach.

  • R.I.P. Brian Pillman.

  • I like the theme but didn't seem too Hollywood Blondes to me. Maybe if it was for someone like Vader it would of fit well but I don't think it fit their gimmick very well.

  • one of the best tag teams in the early 90's

  • These guys' personalities were way ahead of their time. They had tons of charisma and WCW, predictably, misused them drastically. Pillman had a lot of talent, too, he might have been the most dynamic talent on their whole roster, a Dynamite Kid type

  • Austin hoped to tag with Hogan for this group but it didn't work out for him which fulled his hate for Hogan and his want to be number 1 way to go hogan you created a legend about time you did something good for wrestling

  • What a kickass theme!!!!!!!

  • Hollywood Blondes, the dominant force in 90's tag team wrestling!

  • Best team ever..

  • original rated rko

  • I fucking loved this team. My favorite WCW tag team of all time, # 2 would be Harlem Heat. I loved Austin as the US champ as well but HATED the fact that Jim fucking Duggan beat him for it. Nice one, WCW. I'm glad WWE knew what to do with Austin.

    R.I.P. Brian Pillman.

  • its official,folks...morrison has got 2 go "loose cannon"-/"hollywood blondes"-era(s)

pillman on wwe asap!...could u imagine him doing this...

"...I'M NOT CENA...i'M NOT TRIPLE H...I'M JOHN-FREAKIN'-MORRISON...& DON'T (ANY OF) U 4GET IT!!!!!..." he then waves the infamous "4 Horsemen" symbol 4 dramatic effect...

  • One of the best tag teams ever!!

  • A team that was never meant to 'get over', but got over in a HUGE way!!!

  • R.I.P brian

good tag team shame WCW split them two up

  • why does the theme have a edit in the beginning? they didnt come out to an edit of this song

  • morrison and miz reminded me of the hollywood blonds

  • @jdriguez69 Miz and morrison had nothing on the Hollywood Blondes. The Blondes ruled!!

  • @jdriguez69 morrison and miz were the 2000's hollywood blonds

  • fuck gotta love austin before wwf

  • @MeXiCaNxMeTaLhEaD oh and his face kinda reminds me of corey taylor

  • one of the best tag-teams ever!

  • Austin looks like a little kid here.

  • am I the only one that prefers wrestlers theme music from the 90s and before? rather than modern day theme music, which is basically just some random bands music from their latest album, I dunno it just connects more to me, when I hear the music.

  • Comment removed

  • @sevenforcex

TNA has a crappy music composer, so the themes there are kind of lame, in my opinion.

But WWE still has Jim Johnston, the greatest theme writer in the business.

I guess people like Drew McIntyre, or anyone with just that regular band music is just lame. ( even though most people still like his theme )

  • @sevenforcex BroiledSportsdotcom does an old school wrestling theme everyday on their site. pretty cool

  • Much more bad ass than I assumed it would be... should've known better its Steve Austin and Flyin' Brian!

  • This is one of the most bad ass theme's in wrestling history. Too bad it was stuffed in the WCW library and so many wrestlers used it. But too me, this theme is and will always be the Blonds.

  • Shoot, I would have used this as my theme music if I ever wrestled in WCW.

  • Many other people used this music as well...........Windham & Hennig as a tag team........

  • its kinda crazy that such a badass entrance theme, turned into the theme of every single jobber in wcw

  • I hate to use this as a forum to generalize about my current thoughts on wrestling as a whole,But I will.the current state of wrestling is like it is,for one due to Mcmahons dominance over the past 25 years.the deaths of the territory wrestling, the steamrolling of WCW and ECW.as a result of these things, there is a whole generation that only knows WWE,they will not ever accept anything other than WWE,they are insulted when you bring up a TNA,or ROH or Dragon gate, sorry I just had to vent

  • @BorderCityBandit I agree with everything, I loved wCw back in the day, even in wCw dark days they could pull a 2.0 rating and even some 3.0's, WWE RAW averages 3.5 now days, pretty sad to see wrestling just fall of the map, I stopped paying attention to it years ago, the last good days were Lesnar/Team Angle days, I guess that was around 2003, all down hill after that, and with MMA rising I dont see wrestling ever being what it was.

Having one company rule is just shit.

  • awesome sport... /facepalm

  • Awesome tag team!

  • what song is this?

  • That song rocks

  • didn't Blitzkrieg use this as his theme once?

  • @spiritjd33 nvm, I didn't look at the description :P

  • r.i.p. brian pillman

  • Tapping @ Austin dabbing the sweat off Pillman's face and patting him on the head, so CUTE~! X3

  • Bad ass theme for a bad ass tag team!

  • Bad ass team in WCW in the 1992-1993 EVER!!!

  • epic theme...could have been one of the greatest tag teams ever, damn you dusty rhodes!!!

  • weird to see austin with hair lol, damn makes me feel old, shit!!

  • grate tagteam should of did that same thing is wwf but with a new name

  • they could have been the greatest tag team wcw had if they just would have used them right but they had to go mess it up

  • Great theme... I never realized how good it was until I watched Superbrawl 3 the other day.

  • *does the mock camera pose*

    Man did that ever rule.

  • the hollywood blondes are one of the greatest tag teams of all-time in my view

  • omg im totally with ya on that such great talent in ring and out of course on mic and of coursewcw ruins them cause the marks in the back these guys would out shine them man i mis pillman i was a huge fan of his and autsins from these day and beyond its ahsame pillman dided ive always said pillman the the original rated R superstar

  • The Tag-Team of the Nineties

  • @wrath231 woa lol. If it wasn't for the WWE pimping out this shit most people wouldn't remember it. Tag team of the 90s? Hmmm, Harlem Heat, Steiners, Hardyz, E&C, Dudleys, Benoit/Malenko, lots of really good teams.

  • no one can do Pillman but Pillman

  • Gosh. Austin with hair.

  • i think they could of been one of the best teams ever

  • OR morrison using it...maybe 4 a pillmanesque "loose cannon" persona change!!!

  • could u imagine a "super-face" ted jr.(dibiase) using a theme likme this after he leaves evolution & decides 2 get his dad in his corner?!?!?!?

  • the team was great i remember the battles with marcusbagwell and toocold scorpio mnm morrison and mercury reminded me of the old hollwood blondes the cocky attitude hair and same great wrestling moves!

  • great tag team def one of my top favs they couldve actually been the first ever dx if they wanted they had the mic skills the wrestling skills the look the cockyness

  • This was why the whole pillman / austin feud made no sense to me. I mean there were too good a team. That wwf feud where pillman pulls the gun on him psssh non believable. Long live the Hollywood blonds.

  • What's so sad about their title reign is they're one of the teams that suffered from Disney Taping booking. Even though they were getting over with this gimmick and the titles, weeks of footage had already been filmed that showed them without the belts, so they were already written in to lose them and fail no matter how good they performed.

  • Coolest theme i've heard yet! Austin & Brian Ruled! Hollywood Blondes forever! RIP Brian!

  • i wanna learn how to play this on guitar

  • i meant the hair color...NOT the team...i was referring 2 the "blond(e) jobber"theme line some1 else used 2 describe the themes other users

  • i was a fan of steve austin before he was stone cold steve austin

  • @mrwrestlingfans - So was I, chief. I knew he would blow up I just didn't know when. Most fans didn't even know the man had long blond hair early in his career...

  • @mrwrestlingfans so was I, in fact he was better wrestler back then, but sadly in his biggest years his wrestling was limited because of too many injuries begining with his knee

  • @mrwrestlingfans : As was I.

  • when was marty janetty ever a blond(e)...jobber yes...blond(e)...not that i could recall!!

  • he just had the same theme music when he came to WCW. he was never in the hollywood blondes.

  • but still...they were great...& THAT midnights/tully&arn/blondes would ALSO make 1 TOTALLY AWESONE 3-way/triple-threat!!!

  • the ONLY team in wcw/wwf/wwe/ANYWHERE that wouldve/couldve touched the blondes was/is the eaton/lane midnight express...maybe the steiners &/or hitman/anvil hart foundation(?!?!?!?)

  • the midnights(Lane and Eaton) are the best ever... followed closely by arn and tully. The blondes are like Bo Jackson: great, but only for a short period of time.

  • thats because they were only given a short period of time, thanks to mr. dusty rhodes.

  • I always knew Stunning Steve Austin would be huge but who in the hell knew that Eric Bitchoff would fire him #1.#2 Austin goes to ECW. #3 He goes to the WWf and jobs for Slobbio Vega. #4 Kicks Jake Roberts ass like he stole his last can of beer. #5 The rest is history.

  • What WCW waste talent no way where should i start the list

  • How could bischoff waste such good talent like the Hollywood Blondes.

  • Actually it wasnt Bischoff..

  • wcw had the attitude era right there in the palms of their hands but they crapped it away for hogan.

  • yea but let's think of actual matches during the attitude era wcw had waaaaay better matches than wwf did wwf just had better storylines

  • @Killedbyamen

    Agreed

  • @patrickthadude

Personally, I think Hogan Helped WCW be reconized. Like TNA's being done now. They're reconized to the extent, that they'll be moving on Monday nights just in 2 more days! If Austin or the Rock (Austin is not coming to TNA he's scheduled to appear on WWF Raw March, 15. This is example) They'd get the NEW GENERATION rolling to TNA. Hogan gets everyone to join the fanbase of tna.

  • @tonshaad1230 Pity TNA is doing lower ratings than ever right now.

  • always prefered Flyin Brian over Stunning Steve, but they were fucking great.

  • I like Austin but he looks like a total queer with hair lol

Same way I love hall but he looks like a 70's porn star with his stache lol

  • Shame Kendrick got the let go I can see Dolph Ziggler and Brian Kendrick teaming as the next Hollywood Blondes.

  • steve austin and brian pillman were actually talented

  • oh my god that would've been fucking phenomenal

  • OMG!!! STONE COLD WITH HAOR!!!!

  • it was even longer than that 2 years earlier!!

  • I loved everything about these guys at the time...I even got my haircut like Stunning Steve - who knew how huge over they would get, especially Steve?

  • proof that YET-F'N'-AGAIN wcw DID NOT know what it had going 4 it/them!!!!!

  • i was talking about the blondes AS A UNIT!!!!...not feuding...teming-up....maybe doing a "dirt sheet"-type of thing on raw...that wouldve been f'n' sweet!!!

  • the only things that come/came close were/are 90s dx and miz and morrison ,which...in my opinion...wouldve made an awesome 21st century blondes!! (the latter wouldve been MORE believeable,of course)!!

  • the blondes in wwe/wwf wouldve been F'N' AWESOME!!!!!...AND jr wouldve screamed "...THE BLONDES!!!"..."THE BLONDES!!!"...the way he did 4 stone cold...that wouldve been F'N' SWEET!!!

  • They Feuded In The WWF...Pillman Got A Gun!

  • in retrospect, the ONLY thing(s) i hated about this era was jr didnt call many/any blondes matches...t.s. did...,and vince NEVER had the blondes in the wwe...only stone cold and the loose cannon...which isnt that bad...but who knows!?!?

  • who was responsible for breaking the team behind the scenes?

  • Dusty Rhodes

  • really I thought it was ric flair

  • Might have been..Its one of those two.I know that the Clash of champions when the Blondes faced arn/flair drew a shit rating the Blondes were thrown under the bus and blamed for it.

  • It's Can't Be.Flair Liked The Blondes!

  • When you look at Austin then you have to think WCW was one to something but they were not really sure what they were on too. If Pillman had lived though the Attitude era he would have been huge. Well maybe.

  • Rolls My Camera Loved dis Tag Team one of da best ever

  • Love this theme!!

  • One of the main reason I ever became a WCW fan was because of the Blondes

  • Its so badd ass

  • anyone have a download link for this ?

  • i love the old camera recording motion by these two. They were classic, Saturday night main event days.

  • Best tag team of the mid 90's, with the best theme. Dont care who else used this theme, it will forever be one with the blondes baby!!

  • So nostalgic with this music playing.

  • Even though others used this theme, it'll always be synonymous with the Blonds. One of the greatest theme songs ever, and one of the greatest tag teams ever.

  • wcw dropped the ball big time with this team

  • wcw dropped the ball with damn near half their roster,,,remember who is in that tron...STONE COLD

  • Lets see they jobbed guyts like Triple H and edge. They mid Austin a middle card guy. Y2J was pretty much jobbed. Beniot, and Eddie were never give their shot. Well Beniot got his, but they still messed that up. The man that built the company Ric Flair was treated like dirty so Hogan, and the outsiders could get there spot light, adn when they needed those three they bailed every other week before they left. you ever notice the top guys in WCW worked every other Nitro.
