Orally you need calcium to absorb Vitamin E, but becareful, Vitamin E doesn't leave the body very fast and stays, some Vitamin E comes through your skin through the Sun, the human body doesn't have the photosenthesis conversion capability that cows, and plants due, so if you aren't out in sun much and have pale white skin then you probably need more Vitamin E.

ok. My mom went to the doctor nd asked y we get acne scars nd the doctor sed the sun makes ur acne scars darker nd last longer. so now i use neutrogena oil free moisture SPF 15. hope this helps!!

I haven't tried Vitamin E oil yet, but if it's sold everywhere (like at Walmart or drugstores), might as well give it a try.

I'm currently using this gel... But it takes at least 8 months of everyday use for older scars to heal. That is a long time :)

I have been using vitamin e for two weeks on my scars. and it hasent made that much difference. my one is 70,000 iu

@dtvvth vitamin e will only work on scars that are in the process of healing, or in the process of becoming a scar. it won't work on old scars ):

Great vid! Vitamin E works wonders for any kind of scars or 2 prevent scars. I once had a 3rd degree burn on my entire forearm from a fire. my skin was so bad that it burned off & bubbled. I was scared that i'd be stuck with this awful lookin scar. but my aunt is a nurse & made me rub vitamin E on it several times a day. It took months, but the scar is completely gone. U can't tell that i was burned there. I really thought it would be a scar forever. It doesn't go away over night, but it works.

use nadinola its a bleachin cream put it on individual scars b4 u go 2 bed atnight and wash off in the morning trust me do it 4 around 2 months and u can kiss those scars goodbye4 ever thank god 4 nadinola

does vitamin shoppe sell that?can I just apply a thin layer on my whole face, bcoz i have alot of scars on my face, is it also possible to take in vitamin E chewables to speed up the healing process?

Hi Jimica23, Yes, they should carry the liquid kind but if not, check with your local drugstore. It's over the counter so you don't need prescription, I got mine from Wal-Mart. Taking vit E orally is always good but I'm not sure if that will speed up healing..HTH :) let me know...

i didn't use the liquid kind.....i used the gelcaps and i punctured a hole with a push pin and squeezed the oil out and rubbed it on my scars. vitamin e taken orally is always good for the body, but i agree with u that it might not speed up the process if u are focusin ur attention to a certain location on ur body.

yeah.. i brought the liquid version of the vitamin e oil from target.. it was a origin or something like that brand.. & it had dramatic results.. i'll try to post a video later when they are more visible b/c i never took a before picture..

& it doesn't stink.. it's not really thick, & absorbs quickly!

How does the Vit. E work on older scars?

I know that Vit. E mixed with a bit of lavender is supposed to be AMAZING to prevent new scars, but have you noticed if it has been softening up any of your older ones?

Yes, it works great on older scars. Try to apply it twice a day: once in the morning and before bedtime.

Thankfully even though I had my fair share of acne when I was in highschool, I didn't scar, so it's not so much an issue for me.

My other question is what type of skin do you have? Do you have oily skin? I worry about telling my customers to use Vit. E if they have oily skin, worrying it might make more excess oil.

Sorry for asking so many questions, but I'd love to know your thoughts.

No problem :) I have SUPER oily skin and applying/using liquid vit E doesn't make it any oiler. Some of my friends with normal skin (not oily and sensitive skin) even use it as moisturizer at night.

tee tree oil is so stinky i hate the smell, vita min e pills taken orally will do the samr thhing for your skin

I know :) that's the only negative thing about it but it does work for me. I dab it on at night and it's dry the next day.
