well, what i find pathetic is that, people will just admit that all people of a particular race or culture are the stereotype of what their culture defines them as. USA says Arabs equal 911 scum, therefore it's ok to hate Arabs. Yes, this man, from the middle east hit her, and did bad things, and i'm not advocating that. however our cultures might be different, in some countries men have the right to do these things in the name of morality. what i find heartbreaking is that the dr phil audience did indeed try to make him out to look like a terrorist just because he couldn't come to the united states. abdullah admits in his media coverage that he did hit her... he's not lying. how can they say he's lying? there is a war!

Saw this show yesterday, I do think her family is a little racist. I don't believe any man should beat or call their loved one names, as far as treating woman like shit and hitting them...what like men in the US don't treat woman like dogs as well so you can't just single out 1 group...it's a global issue as far as how woman are treated in the world today. Besides what do you expect to happen when people meet over the net the way they did, both were naive..too bad made a cute couple.

Yesterday this Dr. Phil show was on Dutch TV. I was shocked how bad Dr. Phil talked about Abdullah. He was brainwashing her and talking bad words to her. Like when your are muslim you're terrorist. He is happy she find now 'real American boy'. This were 2 young people who fall in love with each other. She has adventures heart and followed her dreams. I am Dutch girl with muslim boyfriend and we have big love for over 1 year now.
