i hav this pedal. and it really sounds good in front of a totally clean (mabye a lil spring reverb) all tube amp. with a boosted mid and treble eq setting(cuts thru bassy drums and bass and trebly vocals and keys) it sounds very clear yet has a good crunch even at twelve o clock positioning. only problem is that during transport the level knob will move a bit so mark where u like it to be with a sharpie ultra thin

it works really good if u set ur amps gain to where u can turn down ur volume and have clean and the fab at 75 on every thing except volume
