  • mmm i had the original BUT i heard it so many times and eventually i lost it :(

  • do you know where can i get the music ?

  • @NACA990 , if you buy the Original Album you will find a surprise there = the scores of ALL the pieces in the CD. ^_~d

you can buy it from the LINN Records website. You can also try the Early Music Specialist stores out there.... ^_^d

  • what melodies are quoted in this piece?

  • @NACA990 , it's Schmelzer's Pastorella... ^_^

  • @PeriodinstrumentfaN No, it is not 'Schmelzer's Pastorella' that is quoted; but rather both composers (among many others) use well-known Christmas tunes in such works.

  • Great performance, though seemed to completely miss the programme of the piece. Did they really not know what a pastorella is?

  • @Svatopluk ,

if the composer says it is a "Pastorella" then it is a pastorella.... ^_~

  • @PeriodinstrumentfaN Precisely, yet the performers do not seem to be aware of the idioms of the genre; nor do they seem away of the melodies quoted in the piece.

  • Way to go, Heinrich!
