well if u buy it with a 2 year contarct it does but i heard tht at&t has fixed it but its j tht dumbass's put the charger in wrong and make it cath on fire... but the touch screen is alot better and teverything else thts what i heard im getting tht phone tmr hopefullyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!

The reason why they took the quickfire off the shelves is because they're defunct meaning that they're bugged. The touchscreen does freeze at times and is not really that responsive. I just returned mine because of text messaging errors and they gave me a propel, it's nice and easy to use but not as cool looking as the quickfire :[

If you're more of a touchscreen person than I suggest getting the view but if you're more hands on then get the propel ;]

But just my opinion all these touchscreen phones are starting to look the same I mean take the eternity, behold and the vu they both look identical and basically have the same features just different phone companies...

Dont get the VU, i had one. The touch screen is ok, but it sucks when you go to text. I got rid of mine a while ago.

Yeah, the Quickfire's really cool, but it just doesn't work. I still have mine, but I called to get a Propel. The Quickfire is called that for a reason: it CATCHES on fire. haha.

i think the reason why the quickfire wasn't working for you was because you were pressing very hard. this man in an at&t store said press softly or else it won't work that well. so that's probably why it wasn't working. =]

Well I have the Propel. It is an AWESOME phone, but I think that the quickfire feels more sturdy, so I think the quickfire wont "crap out" in a couple days.

the reason the touch screen wasn't working was because she was touching it to hard...you could see it when she would touch the screen the screen would have a ripple effect around her finger...the screen is a resistive touch screen, which means very light touches...it will work better.

i work at an at&t store i know what im talking about...i get this question from people all the time...hope this helps people.

they both have there own characteristics...but if your looking for that all in phone that's focused on messaging than the propel is for you, but if you want mobil tv and multi media then get the view...in my opinion the propel is better.

ok then pleeease help me. I just got the samsung propel today and i locked the phone, it asked for a PUK code and i didnt know what it was so i put in what i thought it could be and after like 5 tries it said that "SIM unavailable. Please contact service provider" and the AT&T stores are closed since its christmas. what do i do?

go online and type in ur password and stuuf look at your number and it should say puk code and it should give it to you

Can can do both flip and dial or, with the touch screen, dial from there without sliding. Hope this helps!
