@hakle2005 Israel invaded Lebanon twice.Once in 1978 when they invaded & occupied most of the South & remained there.Then in June 1982 they invaded Lebanon and remained there until this writing.Bachir died in mid-september '82 & had enough time to resist & fight the Israelis but instead he greeted & encouraged them to invade.He turned against his own country & sided with the Israelis when he cooperated with them 6 gave them guidance.He killed more christians than any of the christians rivals.

Im from Australia and the Palestinians in Lebanon have been there since 1948 and are more Lebanese than the Lebanese themselves. They will go nowhere, they are educated and both Muslim and Christian Palestinians have attributed so much to the Lebanese. Lebanese problems today have nothing to do with the Palestinians, It is Internal problems between one another. There was always fighting in Lebanon prior to 48' between muslim, christian and druze, why would that change today.

Because Bachir was young and full of faith in his mission he was fearless and did not want to change his way of of life after his election. It is so sad to see him full of life and hopes and to know the terrible events of his awful death.
