  • tzotzil that they speak from los altos de chiapas it"s really great that they haven"t loos they tradicione and to know that part of the mayas still live and peoples like you are to know about them.

  • What language were they speaking. It did not sound like Spanish.

  • @9Celena It's one of the many indigenous languages that exists in the southern regions of México (Oaxaca, Chiapas, Guerrero); due to the variety of these languages it's hard to tell exactly which one is being used here (at least for inexpert people like me), alghough you can get an idea by taking a look at the "Languages of México" article in wikipedia or even better, especialized bibliography.
