i know that kirkland doesnt have the best boxing skills.

but, i really respect how this man trains like a machine. he really dedicates himself to his training. i know that boxers in his class dont train like he does.

khan looks like he improved his defense and footwork. I see a little bit of pacquiao in him the way he moves in and out and raises his hands when gets hit then attacks the enemy. Not polished enough. The in and out movement and keeping his hand up is still not a 2nd nature to him He needs a better fighter to fight than an old small washed up fighter in barrera...well a little washed up..i think barrera still has it.

Also completely agree about Kirkland,once he fights someone who will back him up and box better we will find out what he is made out of,he is exciting,but sloppy,someone with skills will expose his weaknesses,I feel

Have you posted an update about Khan and Barrera?WQould like to know your point of view,Khan looked good,but I would have liked to know what would have happened without the cut!Barrera knocked him once,and said Khan power never bothered him,and I believe him.Khan has potential,no doubt,but will he really make it.

Nope, Enzo Calzaghe is left with Nathan Cleverly and hes only fighting dodgy africans. Khan was frustrating but he didnt seem to have the power to hurt Barrera. I think hes gonna have to outbox top fighters for every minute of every round to be a champ. Which is pretty tough...

kirkland is just trying to take advantage of el perro because angullo has flaws himself and kirkland wants to fight him before angullo get better.

i think ortiz would KO alvarez. hes good, but i think he doesnt have the skill to make it to the elite like ortiz has.

i agree with you analysis of kirkland/julio, julio's corner failed him with bad advice...and kirkland does have big denfensive flaws hopefully they can be fixed... he defintely brings something to the sport like it lacks...a mike tyson like boxer...Khan by KO in 8 unless barrera gets him early

I've got word that Mares will be back sometime in mid to late april to fight an undisclosed opponent!...Ortiz is looking better and better...would love to see a little more defensive skills...but i'm a fan of the kid so far...i'm calling Barrera, screw it!

i know islander, kirkland dont look much,and how to beat him is by backing him up. easier said than done. julio found out the hard way and didnt have enough to beat kirkland.

fact is kirkland has an 0 for losses, and as of right now, nobody has come close.

btw i love the idea for ortiz vs alvarado. if arum is smart he needs to stay away from ortiz, ive seen mike fight, victor ortiz is a different animal

JL87- My point with Kirkland is that Julio never did try to back him up. Lets just say I really like Angulo's chances against him. Like I said in the video I would make Ortiz a favorite over Alvarado but it would be interesting.

i agree, but didnt you learn anything from the quintana fight. when pushed julio doesnt respond, hes kinda soft and the shot that he hit kirkland, james walked right through them which discourage him

Islander.....i think there may be some upsets over here. Actually Ofolabi is considered an awkward prospect and a pretty live underdog. Im not an expert on him either but I could see him making Enzo look bad at the least. I dont consider Cook to be genuine world class and I think he'll get stopped by Martinez who looks a solid fighter.

Im edging towards Khan in the main event by decision. I dont see a ko and I can see Barerra testing him in the mid-late rounds but hopefully Amir pills thru

Dirk- With Cook I agree, I won't even pretend to believe he can fight above his own level twice in a row. Maccarinelli I just don't believe they would put him in too tough after the Haye disaster. I feel Khan should have too much size and too much speed only 4 hours to go!

Islander - I dunno cos they tried to put Enzo straight back in against Banks before he pulled out with injury and then pulled out again to fight Adamek. I dont think Afolabi has any power though, he probably will just be awkward for a few rounds

Ortiz actually was Top Rank's prospect. The only prospect GBP has is Mares. I really do not know who will win between Khan and Barrera. Khan has the speed, power, and frame and height but no chin and experience. Barrera has some pop, chin, and experience. He's not that washed up. He survived pacquiao, and took marquez to hell and take him down before losing.
