Haven't heard this in ages. Loved the solo album when I got ahold of it around 1999 or 2000.

Beautiful beautiful song, to me this seems like a predecessor to Neutral milk hotel's sound on In the Aeroplane over the sea or at least somewhat similar. Anyone hear commonalities?

@NacostaMusic Yeah, funny, that just occurred to me too. I was a huge NMH fan both before and after I got ahold of this album, and in retrospect I definitely see the similarities.

One of the greatest songs, on one of the greatest soundtracks, on one of the least appreciated movies of the decade. Why this film did not do six billion in ticket sales in its openeing weekend is truly beyond all comprehension. And for any of you concerned that Mr. Enigk's contribution is the equivalent of a one-hit wonder, I am happy to say your worries are over.
