And yes, it's quite similar except the northbridge and CPU. Dell has 945GSE chipset, and Atom N270 CPU, which are consuming less power, than 945GC and Atom 230 (what's found in D945GCLF), but, the main specs are quite equal.

No it's not useful of course. It is only a demonstration how powerful this little machine can be with Linux.

It will work for sore. Your CF cards read/write speed is 20MB/sec.
